"8...9...10..." AK after AK fall at your feet. You're running out of juice, your lungs burn when you breathe in. A Paladin runs at you hen your guard is down, but Velvet saves you with Nora's hammer, sending the machine off course.
"Thanks... V." You plant Luna in the ground and hunch over taking deep breaths.
"Of course." She says, also out of breath. Alecks runs up to you.
"How're you holding together?"
"I'm not. I'm almost out of Aura." You say checking your team's gauges.
"Tyler's Aura is practically untouched, he's really something." You say to Alecks.
"Well, when you can melt anything you want, I'd say it's pretty hard to lose anything."
"More coming!!" Coco yells out, you look up and see at least fifty AK's and three Paladins.
"Ah crapbaskets..."
"That's a new one buddy. It's funny." Alecks unfurls his chaingun, as does Coco. Before the small army can approach, they're bulldozed by a wholly new Paladin. One encased in armor.
"Oh you've gotta be kiddin' me!" Sun yells out.
"Get ready!" You yell out, standing up and transforming Luna into its pistol form. The machine charges you, you fire a gravity round, but it has no effect on the direction.
