6 Months after Beacon
You look out of your window overlooking Atlas, your home. The bright sun beaming down on the building, which easily reflect the light and some even absorb and use the energy to keep the city running.
Knock knock
"Enter." You say to the person opposite of the door. Your dad's butler enters and bows his head.
"Master Y/n, I've been told to inform you breakfast is prepared for you." You turn around and look at the butler, a badger Faunus. His hair with the same coloration.
"Reyes, I keep telling you and I'll tell you again, you don't have to call me Master."
"I serve the Ironwood family. In that statement, I serve you. Which makes you my Master."
"While you have a point. I'm not of Ironwood blood." You tell him.
"It matters not. Master James adopted you and took you in, therefore, making you an Ironwood." You sigh, knowing you've lost the battle.
"Fine, I suppose it's your job after all. I'll be down shortly."
"Very good." He bows his head and walks out of your room, closing the door.
"I hate this prim and proper crap." You get dressed up in Atlas attire, one suites for the son of the General. A nice white button-up and a jacket, along with dark blue pants. You look in the mirror as you adjust.
"I look just like my father." You say both impressed and displeased. You open your door and walk out into the hallway. You greet some maids walking past, they bow their heads and continue forward. You walk past the foyer and past a massive statue of an Ursa being crushed by a Paladin with an Atlesian flag adorned atop of it. You finally reach the dining room and when you enter, your dad and Alecks are talking.
"Good morning son."
"Good morning." You yawn and look at the food.
"Sweet, this look fantastic. Tell the cooks they did awesome." You tell Reyes.
"Very well." He says.
"Hey Y/n." Alecks says to you, throwing a Shaka up.
"Hey buddy."
"How're you feeling? Still hurt?" He asks sitting beside you.
"Well, my left leg is still barely operational, my arms are sore, and my collarbone hurts like hell. That's not the full extent of damage but it's a quick run-down."
"Excuse me, Reyes? What exactly were all of his injuries?" Reyes walks over.
"Both radii and ulna in both arms were fractured, fibula in his left leg was fractured, shattered right femur, multiple broken ribs, and a fractured right clavicle sir. Also a broken left scapula."
"How'd he keep going?" Your dad asks.
"If I were to wager, I'd say his Aura dulled or evening completely nullified the extent of his injuries." Reyes answers.
"I win in that department Alecks." You tell him.
"If you want to count being super injured as a win, I won't stop you." He puts his hands up. You glare at him. You look at your father.
"How's your meeting with Jacques go?"
"About as well as you could expect."
"Have you heard anything from Weiss?" You ask him.
"Nothing son." You look out the window toward Atlas.
"I miss you Weiss, I hope you're okay..."
