*** WARNING SMUT!! ***
Cedric smiled softly as he admired Harry sleeping on his chest. Harry looked so innocent and young when he slept, sometimes Cedric found it hard to process that he was only fourteen...that was until he studied his peacefully sleeping form
When he slept the lines of stress and worry disappeared from his face, making him look uncharacteristically innocent and soft
The fresh spring air was gently tickling at Cedric's face, filling him with a freshness of the clean air. Today was the first nice day in weeks, rain and storms had defined the spring thus far, however today the sun had finally decided to make an appearance, something which Harry and Cedric didn't pass up on
Cedric had an arithmancy book propped open in one hand and Harry draped over his chest. The younger boy and fallen asleep within the first ten minutes of their 'study' time. Not really a surprise to Cedric though, he'd come to know that Harry wasn't a fan of school and he'd long ago given up trying to force the stubborn younger boy to do anything
After reading the painfully stale chapter for what had to be close to an hour, Cedric let out a long sigh and shut the book, focussing the entirety of his attention onto Harry
He recalled Harry saying earlier that arithmancy looked awfully confusing with all the numbers and charts, though Cedric loved it. He loved a challenge. Harry had looked at him like he was mad upon hearing he enjoyed the difficult course. Harry brought such colour into Cedric's life
He placed a soft delicate kiss onto Harry's forehead, just over his scar, the act caused the sleeping boy to stir ever so slightly
Cedric couldn't help but wonder how the younger boy's scar had been feeling, there were some mornings when Harry seemed to be constantly rubbing his head and generally in an aloof state. However other mornings he seemed as light and free as ever, it was all very confusing to Cedric
Though he wanted to delve into the depths of Harry's mind and interrogate every single thing that was bothering him, he couldn't. He knew Harry would hate him if he did such a thing
Since the previous task, school had taken a dominant spot of focus in Cedric's life. He'd been swamped with piles upon piles of work. Each day more assignments seemed to be sprawled onto him, so much so that he'd been forced to limit his precious time with Harry
He gently slid his fingers through Harry's long dark hair, it smelt fresh of mint. Cedric always loved the feeling of Harry's hair, it was soft and always seemed to stick up in the most adorable way. He found it cute when Harry would grow frustrated with his reflection and try to hopelessly flatten his unruly hair...it was no use though the cute little frown and toddler-like mannerisms of Harry's frustration always made Cedric smile
He exhaled a long breath of bliss as he studied Harry further, the Gryffindor's mouth had fallen agape ever so slightly, making him look all the more adorable. However his glasses now sat crookedly on his face, digging into his cheek in a way that looked incredibly uncomfortable
The Hufflepuff made the decision to gently reach out a hand and take off the boy's glasses. Though the act was carried out very meticulously, Harry still scrunched up his nose and turned his face into the warmth of Cedric's chest
Cedric chuckled quietly and gently rubbed Harry's back, feeling the distinct ridges of Harry's spine. He'd come to know that Harry was just naturally thinner than average, though Cedric still thought strongly that it wouldn't hurt Harry to put on a few more pounds...
