ineluctable destinies

          lina hated business gatherings.

she hated that event where known people in business world would gather along with their heirs.

she hated the sight of fancy suit and flashy gowns, the annoying chatter that involves business and maybe even marriages in hopes of better business.

really, she just hated it along with spoil brats and their unexplained egos and pride.

good thing is, she isn't the only one who hated such events.

from the corner, she could hear the familiar sound of bullets being fired — no, there aren't any terrorist or maybe mafia or shit but it's just that known online game that involves guns and grenades.

just the sound was enough to thrill her to the core.

she didn't even think twice and walk towards the direction of a dark haired guy who's white skin stood out in his black tux — 'naglaklak ba to' ng gluta?'

she decided to stood beside him as she watch him play silently.

after a round and a screen appear indicating how he win remarkably make her whistle in amusement making the guy, who didn't notice her presence look at her with a questioning expression.

"may kailangan ka?" he ask, quite rudely at that. — 'suplado ampota'

"wala naman, I'm just wondering kung pwede magpa buhat." she kid.

like really, she's just kidding as she laugh softly.

but his response make her laugh falter, "ayaw ko makipaglaro sa mga cancer." and that left her quite dumbfounded.

she frown as she watch the guy walk away, how could he judge her without knowing how she play? she scoff before opening her own device to play a game on her own.

lina really hated business gathering.

then it click — that newly dyed black hair, white skin, narrowed eyes and s rank game play.

her eyes scan the crowd once again, looking for that certain guy — how could she? how could she miss the chance to have a decent talk with that known streamer.

but before she knew it, a scoff left her lips.

maybe the fame got into his head resulting to that rude personality.

now he's just one of the reason why lina hate business gatherings.
