hidden feelings

       

     there's nothing wrong with admiring someone from a far.

if jaena would be ask who is jeno lee to her, she would definitely answer with 'bestfriend'. afterall, that's how jeno address their relationship.

and na jaena have been admiring her bestfriend from a far for years.

jeno was dubbed as prince by his fans and by a lot of people, maybe because of his looks or attitude, or maybe both.

but in jaena's eyes, he is no where near a prince.

or maybe he is. a prince in distress that is.

jaena have been there, in every downfall he have, she'd been there.

when he fell down from a swing back when they were kindergartens, or when he receive a failing grade during their elementary years or when he have to sit down for a football match back in high school, she was there.

when he first have his crush, she was there. when he first courted someone, she was there. when he got his first heartache, she was there.

and jaena was there, watching how jeno grew happy from his relationship with hyerin back in high school.

and she was there too when they broke up.

she witness how he fell again and got his heart broken, again.

in every tear he shed, she was there. witnessing it all while he vent his feelings out.

and when jeno fell inlove again, she was there.

admiring his smile, how happy he looks, from a far.

and when he got married. she was there.

and how he cried so hard when eunkyul bid her goodbye, jaena was there.

with every smile he wear, she would be in a distance, admiring it from a far.

yet when he shed a tear, she would be there rushing beside him.

there was nothing wrong with admiring someone from a far and jaena doesn't know why she's doing it either.

maybe because he was her first love, or maybe because he was her dumb highschool crush or maybe because he once promised he'll marry her back when they were just kids.

to he honest, jaena doesn't know.

or maybe because jeno is just really that important.

somehow, she always find herself beside him everytime he hit his downfall.

and there's nothing wrong with that too.

until one day, he suddenly started treating her a little more special.

he started treating her the same way she would just witness from a far.

hanging out with jeno isn't really something new that is until when he suddenly showered her with undivided attention.

before, jaena would kill just for that miracle to happen and now that it's happening, somehow scares her.

'why the sudden change?'

she doesn't know and she's way too afraid, too scared for this miracle to end.
