"I'm blaming you for this," Lynn groans as she puts on her sandals.

"And I'll take the blame," I grin as I throw on my tank top.

"If I get a sunburn I'm going to cry," Hannah whines from the bathroom.

It's been almost two weeks since Corey mentioned that bonfire thing he does with his friends. I was convinced he forgot about the entire thing, but then I got his text last night.

"How long are we staying there?" Lynn asks, pulling up her hair.

"Two hours at the most," I answer. "I don't want to get drunk either so I'm counting on you girls to stop any drinks coming my way."

"We got you," Hannah assures. "We don't want a repeat of what happened at New Years."

Lynn chuckles, "The only difference is that you'd be grinding on Corey instead of Jaime."

I roll my eyes while they laugh to themselves. "You guys are horrible."

Ten minutes later we're outside of the house and getting into the car. I decided to bring Daryl just in case Corey tried anything funny. Before we could leave, I remember leaving my phone on the nightstand.

I open the passenger door. "Be right back guys." I rush into the house and grab it from my nightstand. As I turn, Tony stands there looking upset.

"You'll be back soon, right?"

"I'll try," I sigh. "I can leave Daryl here if you want."

"No," he shakes his head. "Go have fun."

With that, I walk past him. He doesn't seem confident in me going on my own, but I'm not. I don't get what the big deal is, he knows I don't like Corey in that way. I nearly complain about him everyday to Tony. Plus, it's not like I invited Danielle to come too. I still don't get his deal with her, and to be completely honest, I don't wanna know.

We exit the car and I put Daryl on his leash. It isn't hard to find where Corey was. There's only one huge group of people on the beach.

As we approach the crowd of people, Corey spots us, running over to greet us. Daryl begins to growl as he goes to hug me. I tug at his collar but that didn't stop Corey from backing up a little. It's like deja vu in a way, except I wouldn't have sex with Corey. Sounds cruel, but he isn't my type.

"Be nice," I scold. He sits down.

That's a thing I started to train Daryl to do. If there's a person he's growling at for no reason, I say 'Be nice' and he'll stop. If not, I say 'Be mean.' Tony's been training him more than I have, it's working so far. One of my pillows got murdered.

"He's not going to kill me, is he?" Corey chuckles nervously while the girls laugh.

"Not yet," I wink.

"You guys have a nice spot here," Hannah says looking over the ocean.

"Yea," Corey begins. "We like to come here because the way the sun sets is just right. We have front row of the sunset. C'mon guys, I wanna introduce you to a few people."

We follow him and the first guy we're introduced to is his 'best friend.' The next person is a girl, she seemed to have a liking in Lynn which made Hannah and I excited. We even left her with the girl to mingle.

Hannah had to go to the bathroom, so that left me with Corey. Well not completely alone. Daryl sits close to me.

"There's one more dude," he gestures to another guy with blonde hair, blue eyes, good body. Basically, he's anything a girl might see in her dream. He even has a sleeve of tattoos.
