I shoot up in my bed and realize I'm not dreaming, he's here. Tony Perry is right before my eyes. The guy I thought I'd never see again. Who should be long gone. My emotions are all over the place. I'm angry and relieved, but mostly angry. Of all times, he has to come now. I'm finally content with life and he's here.

"Welcome back."

That's it?

"What are you doing here Tony?"

He's frowning now. Slowly, he makes his way to the edge of my bed.

"Stop right there," I warn. "Do you know how many months I waited for you? How many nights I spent awake because I thought I might see you again? And now you're here, that's great, wonderful. Do you think this is easy for me? This ruins everything."

"I'm sorry," He gets out. "You have no idea how much I wanted to be by your side. I thought I was protecting you, but ended up making a bigger mess. That's why this will be the last time you'll ever see me."

"No," I snap. "That's not fair. You can't just come, say shit like that, and leave me, again."

"I don't know what to do anymore," He sighs. "Me being here doesn't help. I couldn't leave for good without a proper goodbye."

"I'm not saying bye to you. I refuse."

"Why not?" His voice raises.

"I love you. There, I finally said it. It's not something I say in my head anymore. I love you Tony and I'm so mad at myself. I'm mad that I let myself fall for you."

He goes quiet and I get up from the bed forcing him to look at me. I can tell he's stuck, more surprised if anything.

"Tony, I can't help but feel this way towards you. I know you feel the same. Leaving won't make a difference. If anything we'll just end up back in this same exact situation."

"But your brother," He whispers.

"What about him?"

How does any of this have to do with Kyle?

"He threatened to get rid of me for good, if I didn't leave you alone."

I roll my eyes. Again with this shit.

"How's he going to do that?"

"The dagger," He answers.

"That isn't possible, Danielle has it."

"Not when you sent him to come see me the other day."

This dosesn't make any sense. It's not possible. Danielle had it.

"He won't try anything while I'm around," I assure.

"What does this mean for us?"

"Stay, I want you to stay with me." I surprise him with a hug. He returns it and I finally feel myself relax.

"You have no idea how long I've been wanting to hear you say that." He kisses the top of my head.

He breaks the hug and I don't hesitate to kiss him. His kisses are the sweetest, and I'll never be able to get over them. The way his hands held me close to him made it that much more addictive, intoxicating is a better word.

It ends and I smile.

"If you ever think about leaving me again, I might have to kill you," I wink.

"Trust me, I won't."

Kyle's the last thing on my mind to be honest. When the time does come, I'll deal with him. Right now, I just want to enjoy the time I have with Tony. Lynn and Danielle are aware he's back. When I told Lynn she was super stoked, Danielle, not so much. Both reactions I expected.

Vic's new EP dropped tonight at midnight. I had my aux cord plugged into the stereo, waiting for my pre-order to load. The fans are ecstatic and so is Tony. I've never seen him so proud. He couldn't wait to hear what Vic and I came up with.

12:00 AM.

The five songs on the EP began to load, first one being Out Of Time (Only You). After an agonizing minute the whole EP was loaded. I pressed play on the first one and waited to hear Vic's voice blare. I cuddled close to Tony on the couch.

How can I hold a mirror up to your eyes?

It began and Tony listened intently. The start of the second verse was coming up and by this point I was singing quietly along. Then suddenly, my voice was as loud as ever.

Tony widens his eyes.

"This is you."

I immediately get up from the couch and run outside. Once I make it next door, I begin to knock repeatedly until it opens.

Vic stands there with a gigantic grin on his face. This little punk.

"So I'm guessing you heard it?"

"That wasn't apart of the deal." I cross my arms. "Why didn't you tell me you were recording me?"

"Because you wouldn't have done it otherwise. Have you checked Twitter? They love you." He goes into his pocket and pulls out his phone. After unlocking it, he holds it out to me. I scroll down the tweets, reading each one of them.

Who's the chick that features on Out Of Time? Really good stuff.

She sounds a little like a female version of Shayley Bourget #OutOfTime

I hand him back his phone and he waits for a response.

"That's pretty fucking cool," I finally say.

"Hell yea it is," He chuckles. "Anyways, there is going to be a release party. It's practically mandatory you come cause you helped me with the EP. There's going to be interviews and all that good stuff."

"Where at?"

"This hall about thirty minutes away. I'll text you the details once I get them. Have a good night."

"Back at you and congrats." I surprise him with a hug. "Thanks for keeping your promise."

He hugs me back. "I wouldn't have done it if you hadn't kept yours."

I pull away from him.

"See you later."

As soon as I enter back into my house, Tony hugs me.

"I'm so happy for you."

"Thanks, it couldn't have been done without you."

Suddenly, I hear a notification go off on my phone. I pull away from Tony and take it out of my pocket. I glance at it, Vic mentioned me in a tweet.

I show Tony and he smiles. "Are you ready for this?"

"For what?"

"The new fans," He winks.

"It's only one song Tone, plus I'm not committing myself to do anymore music."

His face goes into a frown. "Why not? You have a gift."

I roll my eyes.

"It's not the life for me."

"I love you," He says randomly.

This time I don't hesitate.

"I love you too."
