"I'm moving," Vic says.
I didn't want to be selfish and tell him no. I had to be the supportive one here. Honestly, if I had the money, I would've been long gone after Daryl died.
"Where?"
"Somewhere far. California isn't the place for me anymore."
"So you're just going to give up everything you have here?" I gesture to his home.
I know what I said earlier about not being selfish, but now he's just running away. That's no good reason to leave.
"There's nothing here for me anymore. Danielle's gone."
It takes all of my strength not to yell at him. Now he's just being ridiculous.
"Your fans are here. Your friends are here. Vic I know not every part of you wants to leave, so just stay. Don't you shut this down. Leave this house, but not California."
He sits down processing my advice. "Audrey, how do you do it?"
"Do what?"
"You're so strong, I'm weak. I really wish I could be like you, but that's impossible. I'll put the idea of leaving on hold for now, but I don't know how long it will last."
At least he's going to think about it.

My visit with Vic didn't last as long as I wanted it to. In less than an hour I was sitting back in my house, alone. It takes some convincing but finally, I get Lynn to leave the house. She was so close to canceling on Alexa. I couldn't let that happen. What her and Alexa have is special. I don't want to get in the way of that.
Danielle's funeral is in two days. Vic told me it'd be at the same cemetery Tony's buried at. I don't want to attend alone, so I'll have to drag Lynn along with me. She won't mind, after all her and Danielle did become somewhat friends.
As I lay on the couch, I wonder what Tyler is doing. He's probably the only thing that can make my mind drift from this situation. I wonder if he'd be up to do anything today, probably not. It's too soon. Plus, I told him to text me... fuck it.
I pull out my phone and dial his number. He picks up not long after.
"What's up?" He asks. I can hear the smile in his voice.
"I'm bored. What are you doing?"
"Nothing being a lazy ass," He replies. "Want to hang?"
"Please."

We find a local park. Before we went there, we got sandwiches from Subway. So far things were going good. Nothing too serious happens, just a lot of talking. I don't mind it though. The last thing I'd want is a repeat of what happened between me and Jaime.
Tyler parks his car into the parking lot. Together, we get out and make our way over to the empty swings. He hands my meatball sandwich as I sit down.
"Thanks," I smile.
"No problem. So Audrey, have you been thinking about that opportunity?"
It takes a minute for a lightbulb to go off. The song Tyler wants me to feature on. I've had so much other stuff going on, I completely forgot. Maybe that's why he's been so nice to me. That's probably why he offered to go out with me. I don't know why he wants me to do this, my voice isn't that special.
"I'm sorry Tyler. So much shit has been going on lately. You know I would if everything wasn't so hectic."
He nods his head. "I understand."
After eating our sandwiches, we have a competition on who could go higher. He won. I drag my feet across the tanbark, stopping me. Tyler does the same.
"That was fun," I laugh. "I haven't been on a swing in forever!"
"Same," He agrees.
At that moment, his phone begins to go off. First interruption of the date. He glances at the screen for a moment. He seemed to be wondering if he should answer. Before it can stop ringing, he does.
"Hello?... Yea, I'm at the park right now... Are you serious? Couldn't have been at a worst time," He hangs up and gives me a sympathetic look.
"It's okay," I began. "I understand."
"You're the best."

When Tyler dropped me off, I expected Lynn's car to be waiting outside, it wasn't. I exit the car after giving Tyler a light peck on his cheek. He waits until I'm inside to drive off. I guess there was an emergency band meeting. I feel bad for not wanting to feature on the song, but I already have enough on my plate.
I go into my room and dress into my pajamas. The clock reads 7:30 PM. I text Lynn asking where she was at. I wish I can take the text back. I was the one who encouraged her to go have fun afterall, and that's what she's doing.
Yawning, I turn off the light and get underneath my covers. Yea, it's early, but what else am I going to do? As soon as I close my eyes, I feel drowsiness come over me. I guess I really am tired.
"Audrey."
I groan. "Leave me alone."
"I'm back, it's me."
Still a little confused, I open my eyes. They're looking straight into the eyes of a killer.
"You don't have to worry about Kyle anymore." He goes to caress my cheek and I push his hand away. The look in his eyes showed confusion.
"What's wrong?" He gets up from the bed and turns on the light.
"What's wrong?" I repeat. "Everything is wrong Tony. You've been keeping secrets again and you killed Danielle."
"What secrets?" He gets defensive. "And what the hell happened with Danielle?"
"Don't play stupid Tony. I'm not falling for it anymore. I want you out!" By this point I'm on my feet.
He's frustrated. I can tell he wants to blow up. "I'm not going to leave."
"Tony, this is my house. It isn't yours anymore! I don't need you. I'm moving on with my life. I loved all the things you did for me, but you have to go."
"No Audrey. I'm in love with you. I know you feel the same exact way." He gets closer and I back away.
"Don't you dare touch me," I warn.
"Audrey, I want to start a new life with you. We can make it work, I know we can."
Now I'm crying. This is really harder than I thought it was going to be. He hugs me, and I let him.
"Why... did you- do it?" I get out through tears.
"I didn't kill Danielle. I don't know who did," He releases me from his grasp. "I'm so sorry."
I can tell he was telling the truth now. Now there's only one question left that I had in mind.
Where is Kyle?
