Stephanie woke up and got ready for the day. She was excited this morning to have Divination and Care for Magical Creatures. She always wanted to see the future and she loved animals. She headed to the Great Hall and ate some French toast and eggs with bacon.
"Hey Stephy!" Layla said while sitting down.
"Hi are you excited for your first day?" Layla nodded and filled her plate with food.
"I see you're still eating like a pig Snape."
"You are the pig Parkinson! Will you ever shut up or do I have to make you?" Pansy scoffed and walked away from her.
"Who was that?"
"Pansy Parkinson she's so annoying." Stephanie finished her breakfast and headed to Divination. She sat on a pillow. The room looked like a coffee shop instead of a classroom. Stephanie loved the class already even though they didn't do anything. Draco sat next to her with Daphne and Theo.
"This class already sucks." Theo said.
"Really? I think it's cool! I mean you can see the future!" They were interrupted when a lady with bug eyed glasses walked in.
"Welcome, my children. In this room, you shall explore the noble art of Divination. In this room, you shall discover if you possess the Sight. Hello. I am Professor Trelawney. Together we shall cast ourselves into the future. This term, we'll focus on Tasseomancy, the art of reading tea leaves. So please, take the cup of the person sitting opposite you. What do you see? The truth lies buried like a sentence deep within a book, waiting to be read. But first, you must broaden your minds."
Stephanie took Draco's cup and looked at the book next to her.
"Let's see you have a.. bird (I'm making this up by the way) which means you will come across a challenging task."
"You have a cat? I think it's a cat."
"Yes it's a cat."
"That means that you will be betrayed by one and someone you love will die.."
"Well that's lovely. Hopefully that's not anytime soon."
"Ahhh!"
"What is it Professor?"
"My dear boy... You have the Grim."
"The Grin? What's the Grin?"
"The Grim. Not the Grin, you idiot."
"But what does it mean Professor?"
"The Grim... Taking form of a giant spectral dog. It's among the darkest omens in our world. It's an omen... of death."
Divination ended and Stephanie headed to Care for Magical Creatures with her friends who stood in the back of the class.
"That's it. Come on, now. Come closer. I got a real treat for you today. A great lesson. So follow me. Right, you lot. Less chattering. Form a group over there. And open your books to page 49." (Hagrid's talking or whatever is different from before because I'm copying and pasting off different websites for the script)
"Exactly how do we do that?" Draco said.
"Just stroke the spine of course."
Everyone stroked the spine of the book. Stephanie felt like someone was staring at her. She looked around and saw the same Gryffindor boy that called her pretty. She quickly looked away from him.
"I think they're funny." Hermione said.
"Oh yeah. Terribly funny, really witty. God this place has gone to the dogs. Wait until my father hears Dumbledore got this oaf teaching classes."
