Chapter 44 Midnight Stroll

"Where are you two going?" Daphne asked Stephanie and Draco.

"They're gonna find a place to snog!" Blaise said.

"Shut the hell up Blaise! You literally snog a different girl everyday!" Draco yelled at the boy.

"Anyways we have prefect duties. We get to stroll the hall at night!" Stephanie exclaimed.

"Do you guys ever get sleep or do you patrol every night?" Theo asked.

"No there's a schedule. Today is me and Draco's day."

"That's cool. Have fun you two." From the corner of Stephanie's eye she sees Layla kissing Michael.

"Layla and Michael separate now! Five feet a part!"

"You said I can have a boyfriend at thirteen!"

"Yeah but you don't have to snog right in front of me!"

"Whatever"

"Let's go Draco." The two exited the common room and started walking around.

"I love you Stephanie."

"I love you too."

"Wanna go to the astronomy tower?"

"Sure." They go up the stairs to the astronomy tower and see a couple snogging. "Hey! Go back to your dorms!" The couple ran away quickly.

"Look at the stars.." Stephanie leaned over the railing and gazed up at the stars.

"Careful darling don't fall." He hugged her from behind and stayed in that position for a while.

"The stars are so pretty."

"Not as pretty as you love." Stephanie giggled. She loved Draco calling her love and darling. It made her stomach feel all weird.

"We should have nicknames."

"Ok then what should be mine?"

"Ferret boy."

"No. Absolutely not."

"I'm just teasing. How about..hmm I'm not sure."

"How about Draco the king of gods and the most handsome student in Hogwarts."

"You wish. Hmm I don't know. What about me what's my nickname?"

"I have a few options."

"What are they?"

"Kitten, Princess, my teddy bear, and Mrs. Malfoy."

"I like the last one." Stephanie giggled. "But I think princess is good for now."

"Ok then my princess." He kissed her head and looked at the stars.

"I don't know what to call you.."

"Well I don't need a nickname right away. You can think about it later. Just focus on the stars darling."

"Ok." She leaned back on Draco. "Hey look a shooting star! Make a wish Draco."

"I wish that you were mine forever."

"So do I. I wish that we will be together forever."

"Until our last breath."

"Until our last breath." Stephanie and Draco leaned in and kissed each other. It looked like a scene from a movie. It was perfect. Draco put his icy cold hand on her neck and pulled her in with his other hand on her waist. Stephanie wrapped her arms around him while the two shared the kiss. The two pulled away.

"I love you so much Stephanie. This is not some sort of crush for me. I truly love you. I would sacrifice my life for you."

"I feel the same way Draco. I really want to spend my life with you." Draco didn't respond, instead he just smiled at the girl. He pulled the girl to him and held her tightly. He rested his head on top of hers and began humming. Stephanie took in the scent of Draco's expensive cologne. She also smelled green apples and mint, his signature scent. "Am I your soulmate Dray?"

"Of course. We're soulmates and destined to spend our lives together." She smiled at him. He brought joy into her life. He's the reason that Stephanie is alive.

"We should get going. Our patrol is almost over." The two walked back to the Slytherin common room. "Good thing it's the weekend. At least we can sleep in."

"What about breakfast?"

"Who cares we can just have an apple or something."

"Green apple."

"How can you stand green apples. They're so sour."

"Try it it's good."

"Red is better and sweeter."

"Whatever."

"Come to my dorm so we can cuddle."

"What about Daphne?"

"She won't mind. I let her and Theo cuddle all the time in my dorm."

"Ok then if you say so." The two went up to Stephanie's dorm.

"Daph you're still up?"

"I just woke up from a nightmare.."

"Oh, well do you mind if Draco stays here?"

"No I don't mind since you let Theo stay here."

"See Draco? You're fine." Draco laid down on her bed, Stephanie on top of him. "Goodnight Draco."

"Goodnight Steph."

"Goodnight Daphne." Daphne said to herself. Stephanie chuckled at her.

"Goodnight Daph."

"Good night Steph."

"Ok everyone just go to sleep." Draco said, annoyed.

"Fine Mr. cranky pants." They all fell asleep after a few minutes.
