Chapter 42 New School Year

"Come on Draco! We're going to be late!" Stephanie said as she ran to the train.

"Hey! You're not the one carrying the bags!"

"So!? You work out! You can handle it!" They finally got to the train and boarded it. "We made it." Draco threw her bag at her.

"Take your stupid bag."

"Mean." Draco shoves a first year out of his way.

"Move first year!"

"Draco! Stop being rude! You can't act like this for your first year as a prefect." He started to walk away. "I'm sorry about him. He's just cranky because I woke him up early. Goodbye first year. Draco wait up!" She ran and caught up to him.

"That's not how you talk to me Stephanie." He shoved her into an empty compartment.

"What are you doing?" He locked the door to the compartment and put the shades down.

"That's not how you talk to me. I'm the one in charge ok?" He pinned her against the seat. She was now lying down on the train seat with Draco on top of her. He started kissing her neck and leaving marks there.

"Draco.. do we have to do this now?" She giggled. "Also I left my concealer in my trunk and I can't get it! What am I supposed to do?" He smirked at her.

"Well that's for you to figure out." He made out with Stephanie, passionately. He pulled away and grabbed her tie. Draco pulled her tie which made Stephanie move closer to him. She felt his minty hot breath by her ear and she could smell his cologne.

"Who's in charge Stephanie?" He whispered in her ear.

"Y-You are.."

"Good. Now let's go." Stephanie fixed her appearance a little and went with Draco to her friends.

"Sorry we're late this one was being annoying. Daphne help me fix my uniform real quick." She pulled Daphne into a separate compartment. "I need concealer like right now."

"Ok why?" She showed her the hickeys on her neck which made Daphne gasp. She smirked at Stephanie and took out her concealer. "Well someone's busy. Don't have time for your best friend anymore. Instead you're snogging your boyfriend." She applied the concealer on Stephanie. "There."

"Thank you. You're a lifesaver Daph."

"I know. Also nice prefect badge."

"Thanks." The two went back into the compartment and sat next to each other.

"I'm surprised the Ministry's still letting you walk around free. Better enjoy it while you can. I expect there's a cell in Azkaban with your name on it. What'd I tell you? Complete nutter." Draco said as he walked past Harry and his group. Draco had his arm around Stephanie's waist. She smirked at Potter's group.

"Just stay away from me!"

Draco and Stephanie get on a carriage with their friends and it drives to the castle. Once they got there, they got off and went to the Great Hall. They watched the first years get sorted. Dumbledore interrupted with his usual speech.

"Good evening, children. Now, we have two changes in staffing this year. We're pleased to welcome back Professor Grubbly-Plank... who'll be taking Care of Magical Creatures... while Professor Hagrid is on temporary leave. We also wish to welcome our new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher... Professor Dolores Umbridge. And I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing the professor good luck. Now, as usual, our caretaker, Mr. Filch, has asked me to remind you..." He was interrupted by the pink lady.

"Thank you, headmaster, for those kind words of welcome. And how lovely to see all your bright... happy faces smiling up at me. I'm sure we're all going to be very good friends."

"What an eye sore." Daphne mumbled.

"The Ministry of Magic has always considered... the education of young witches and wizards to be of vital importance. Although each headmaster... has brought something new to this historic school... progress for the sake of progress must be discouraged. Let us preserve what must be preserved... perfect what can be perfected... and prune practices that ought to be prohibited."

"Thank you, Professor Umbridge." The feast began.

"So how was your summer guys?"

"It was fun I bought you some dresses from America by the way Steph and Daph." Blaise said.

"Aww thank you Blaise." Daphne said. "My summer was fun. Me and Theo explored many things."

"Yeah I bet I know what Theo explored." Blaise mumbled. Stephanie kicked him underneath the table. "Ow.."

"What did you do Steph over the summer?" Layla asked.

"I just hung out with Draco. We really didn't do much."

"Except for snog." Blaise said. Stephanie kicked him again but harder. She glared at him.

"What's snog?" Layla asked.

"Uhhh it's when you and your boyfriend go on a date."

"Wanna snog Michael?"

"NO! Don't say snog ok it's a bad word."

"Steph I'm turning thirteen in a few months. I should be able to curse."

"Ugh whatever but don't blame me if you get in trouble." Everyone finished their dinner and dessert. "Come on first year Slytherins!" Stephanie yelled. She walked with Draco to the common room.

"The password is 'pureblood' remember it. Also don't share it to any non-Slytherins." Draco said. They enter the common room and the first years gasp. They were in awe.

"You're going to make wonderful memories here at Hogwarts. If you ever need something don't be afraid to ask us."

"Ask her not me." Stephanie jabbed Draco in his ribs. "Ow.."

"Ignore him. Anyways girls dorms are up on the right and boys are up on the left. Have fun." The first years disperse and explore the common room and their dorms. Stephanie laid down on the couch and Draco sat next to her. "I don't like your attitude today."

"What?"

"You're being so rude today. I don't like it."

"I'm sorry.." he hugged her.

"Whatever.. I'm heading to bed now. Goodnight guys." Stephanie headed up to her dorm, ignoring Draco's calls for her. She changed into her pajamas and laid down on her bed. She eventually fell asleep.
