Chapter 35 The Couple

Stephanie went into the common room only to be greeted by Draco, her new boyfriend.

"Good morning beautiful." He hugged her and kissed her cheek.

"Morning. You look happy."

"Well we're free today so I get to spend time with my girlfriend."

"It's too early Draco.."

"You have to stop going to sleep at three."

"I don't go to sleep at three!"

"Mhm.. come on let's go get breakfast."

The two headed down to the Great Hall and sat in their usual spots. Stephanie started eating her usual breakfast, strawberry pancakes. Eve slithered down her arm and onto the table. She started eating some berries. Soon Cedric walked up to the two Slytherins.

"Congratulations you two."

"Thank you Cedric."

"Diggory... do you remember that day after Moody's class with the unforgivable curses? What did you whisper into Stephanie's ear?"

"Oh I told her that you two were prefect for each other. Why what did you think I said?"

"Aww is Draco jealous? I think he is!" Stephanie hugged her boyfriend. "You're so adorable."

"You guys are cute together. Also Stephanie have you figured out the egg yet?"

"Mhm. I figured it out like a few weeks ago."

"And you didn't tell me?"

"We're not supposed to work as a team Cedric."

"Oh right.. I was about to tell you how to solve it but I guess you don't need it. Well see you later Stephanie!"

"Bye Ced." He walked back to his friends. "So what do you wanna do today Dray?"

"I'm not sure yet." Stephanie and Draco finished their food. "What I want to do is kiss you." He repeatedly kissed her face.

"Dracoooo stop it!"

"No I finally have you and I don't want to lose you."

"Well can you kiss me where we're not being watched?" He looked up to everyone staring at him in the Great Hall.

"Turn around and mind your own business! Let's go Steph." He held her hand as they walked to the common room. No one was in there so the two laid down on the couch, Stephanie on top of Draco. "I love you so much Stephanie."

"I know and you say that too much."

"Well it's true and I couldn't say it before without it sounding friendly."

"I love you to Draco. Braid my hair."

"I can't do it in this position."

"I don't wanna get up."

"Then I can't braid your hair."

"Fine and then back to cuddling?"

"Yes." Stephanie sat up and Draco started braiding her hair. He tied her hair with a hair tie. It wasn't as perfect as Luna's but it was still good. Stephanie got up and looked into the mirror in the common room.

"This is good Draco. Thank you." Stephanie looked outside the window of the common room. Outside was the black lake where the second task was.

"What's wrong?"

"I have to retrieve something special to me from the black lake.. I know how to hold my breath under water. I can just use a potion, but I don't know what they'll take from me."

"It's ok Steph.. you're going to win it easily. I know you will. I mean you already defeated a dragon. Actually you killed it.. but you're going to easily win this task too!"

"Thank you Draco." She smiled and laid back on top of him. She started to play with his fluffy hair. "I just realized something!"

"Huh?"

"Remember my boggart? It was Alastor Moody who turned into a ferret. You turned into a ferret by Moody."

"Why do you have to bring that up?"

"I don't know I just thought it was a crazy coincidence.. I'm sorry."

"It's ok." He kissed her and wrapped his arms around her waist, Stephanie kissed back.

"Get. A. Room." Blaise said while walking in with Daphne and Theo. "Please for the love of Merlin get a room!" Stephanie and Draco's face were now red.

"Leave them alone Blaise. They just got together and they're so cute!" Daphne said.

"Yeah but I don't want to watch them snog! Also you only say that because you're in a relationship and if that were you and Theo then you would want to be alone."

"Go to your room! You're grounded!"

"Fine." He goes up to his dorm.

"You two can continue now." Daphne said.

"Let's go to your room Daph." Theo said.

"Ok." The two went up to Daph's dorm.

"They're definitely going to snog." Stephanie said. Draco and Stephanie bursted out laughing.

"I love you so much."

"I love you too."

It was now night time and everyone was in the Slytherin common room. Draco was sitting on the couch with Stephanie's head on his lap; she was reading a book. He took the book out of her hands.

"Hey! Give me that back."

"No pay attention to me."

"I hate you."

"You don't mean that."

"Whatever." Snape barged into the common room.

"Get off of him Stephanie." She quickly got off of Draco. "Malfoy come with me."

"Did Draco do something wrong father?"

"No Professor Dumbledore wants to see him."

"It's fine Steph." He gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, Snape glared at him. They then walk out of the common room.

"That was weird.."

"Yeah.. so what do you think they're going to steal from you for the second task tomorrow?" Daphne said, Stephanie gasped.

"What if it's Draco!? I mean they just took him."

"I hope not. On second thought let's just talk about umm fashion!" Stephanie sighed.

"I'm going to sleep. I have a big day tomorrow."

"Ok goodnight Steph."

"Night."
