Chapter 40 Swimming

Stephanie barged into Draco's room. He was asleep. She got onto his bed and started jumping.

"Wake up! Let's go swim in the lake!" He groaned.

"It's too early.."

"You act like this during Christmas! How come I can't do this!?" Draco threw a pillow at her.

"Rude. No kisses for a week."

"Noooo!"

"Then get up!" Stephanie pulled the covers off of him. He was shirtless which made Stephanie stare at his abs. Draco sat up and rubbed his eyes. He smirked at her.

"Like what you see?"

"Shut up." Draco pulled Stephanie on top of him.

"Goodnight my love."

"No we're going swimming. Now let go of me."

"No."

"Draco!" He let her go and Stephanie left the room. A minute later she came back with a cup full of water. She poured the water onto his face.

"Stephanie!" She giggled. "That's it!" He got up and started chasing her around the manor.

"Draco stop chasing me! My legs hurt!"

"Good! It's what you get." Stephanie ran out to the back of the manor, into the garden. She hid in a more secluded area hidden with rose bushes. It was her secret area. She had fairy lights set up, a blanket, some books, and some pillows. She laid down on the blanket and caught her breath. A figure leaned over her. "Found you."

"How!? This is my secret area!"

"Your perfume is too strong." He kissed her forehead and laid next to the girl.

"Well what do you think? I decorated it myself."

"It's pretty cool." He pulled Stephanie on top of her. She laid her head on his chest, listening to his heart beat. Draco hugged her waist.

"Can we please go swimming soon?"

"Fine." He stroked her hair. "Get up."

"Rude much?" She got up and so did he. Draco picked her up bridal style and carried her back inside the manor.

"Put her down Malfoy." Snape said, looking down at the two from the balcony in the main room.

"Father why do you have to be like this?"

"Because. Now put her down." Draco put her down and they walked back to their rooms and changed. They both came back out changed into their bathing suits.

"Damn."

"Shut up Draco or I'll drown you." The two walked out to the lake in the back of the manor, it was behind the garden. Stephanie and Draco put their stuff on the dock. She then pushed Draco into the water. She bursted into laughter.

"Wow real funny." Draco said as he emerged from the water. "Help me out."

"I'm not falling for that Draco." Stephanie jumped into the water. When she got up to the surface Draco splashed her. "You got water in my eye!" She splashed him back. The two continued splashing each other until Draco went underwater. He swam towards her. He resurfaced and tackled Stephanie, making them both go underwater. The two held each other closely. They shared an underwater kiss together. (That's on Percy Jackson) Once they were out of breath, they both went up to the surface. The two smiled at each other.

"I've been wanting to do that for so long." Draco finally said.

"What kissing me or drowning me?"

"Kissing you. I finally get to kiss you as many times as I want. You're mine now."

"I'm no one's. I'm not an object Draco."

"I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that. I meant that you're finally my lover, my girlfriend."

"I know I'm just joking."

"So you like my abs? I saw you staring at them earlier." Stephanie scoffed at him.

"I didn't know you worked out. I thought you were too weak considering how you lost a fight to a bird."

"We're not bringing that up again. It was all Potter's fault! He tricked the chicken!"

"So Potter tricked the Hippogriff? How?"

"I don't know! He just told it to attack me."

"Or maybe because you called it a great ugly brute."

"Whatever it's his fault."

"Sure..."

"Wanna go back inside and cuddle?"

"Yes I would love to." The two got out of the lake, got their stuff, and headed inside. They changed into to warmer clothes. Draco entered Stephanie's room and laid on her bed. Stephanie closed her door. "Do you live in a barn? Close the goddamn door." Draco smirked.

"Ooh I didn't know you were feeling that way."

"Shut up Draco. I just like my doors closed."

"Why?"

"Privacy and not for what you're thinking!" She laid on top of him. He wrapped his arms around her. Stephanie put her head in the crook of his neck. "Sing me a song."

"I'm not good at singing like you."

"Please? You used to sing to me when we were kids!"

"Yeah but not anymore. I'm not good."

"So? You don't have to be good. Just sing."

"Fine." Draco started to sing a random song, quietly. He eventually started humming the song instead. Stephanie ended up falling asleep, which he found cute. He then drifted to sleep as well.
