Chapter 48 Prefect Privileges

"We have patrolling tonight Draco." Stephanie said during dinner.

"Ok."

"Can we look at the prefects bathroom? I haven't seen it yet. Cedric told me that there's cool stuff in there like bubbles and you can change the color of the water."

"Lucky... I want to see what's in there." Daphne said.

"Ha!"

"You're mean. Do you guys actually patrol the halls? What do you guys do?"

"We walk and chat. Sometimes we go to like the astronomy tower or other rooms. Sometimes we see students and we make them go back to their dorms."

"Eh it sounds ok.."

"It's fun really."

"Hey Steph!" Layla said a few seats away.

"Yeah what's up?"

"Mom, Dad, and I are going to a trip in the summer so we can't visit you and Uncle Snape."

"Really? Where?"

"Australia. We have to take a muggle plane though."

"Ew aren't there a bunch of deadly stuff there?"

"Yeah but it's fine."

"Don't complain to me if you get bitten by a snake then."

"I won't. I'll then that I know you, the snake queen."

"Ha ha real funny."

Everyone finished their dinner and headed back to their common rooms.

"Bring your bathing suit Draco so we can go in the bath. Wear it under your robes." Stephanie whispered into Draco's ear. He nodded.

"Ok everyone go to your rooms or whatever I don't care." Draco announced.

"Draco shut up." Stephanie replied. Draco gave her a glare as a return. A bunch of people went to their dorms including Draco and Stephanie. They both their put bathing suits under their robes and headed back down to the common room. "You ready Draco?"

"Mhm." The two left the common room and made their way to the prefect bathroom. They opened the door and gasped. They were in awe at the view before them. They went inside and explored the room. There was a huge bath tub, it practically looked like a pool, and had a machine at the side that you can put in the bath.

"Draco look at this!" Draco went to the girl who was standing in front of a weird machine looking thing. "You can pick the settings for the bath! There is temperature, colors, add-ins, and more. What do you want?"

"I don't really care."

"Whatever I'm picking. We're gonna do warm, hmmm teal, bubbles, ooh and peppermint scent! I'm gonna live here now." Stephanie and Draco took off their clothes revealing their bathing suits and went in.

"This is awesome. Love the scent choice."

"Anything for you. Hey look! There's a mermaid on the window! And it moves!"

"This is so cool.."

"Hello Stephanie and Draco!" Myrtle said as she came out of the toilet. The startled couple looked at her weirdly. "What?"

"I thought you only lived in the other bathroom."

"No I go wherever I want."

"Ok.."

"Who is this Stephanie?"

"Moaning Myrtle. She lives in the girls bathroom."

"Ohh.. nice to meet you Myrtle. How do you know my name?"

"I've heard much about you from Stephanie."

"You talk about me?"

"Why I can't talk about my boyfriend?"

"Whatever."

"Like the bathroom?"

"Yes it's quite beautiful."

"I know. Anyways you two have fun. I'm gonna return to the other bathroom and start crying."

"Have fun Myrtle.." She disappeared into the toilet.

"That was weird."

"I'm used to it. I'm gonna see what other stuff you can add in here." Stephanie got out of the water and went back to the machine. She added in rose petals and turned up the heat.

"Bloody hell! That's too hot Steph!"

"Suck it up baby!" Stephanie went back in and sat next to him. He put his arm around her while Stephanie leaned her head on his shoulder. "I'm spending my weekends here now and I'm smuggling Daph in too."

"You have fun with that." Suddenly the door bursted open revealing Snape.

"Why aren't you two patrolling!? I looked everywhere for you two and I haven't spotted you guys anywhere! That weird ghost told me you two were in here."

"This is a bathroom father for prefects only. What if someone was naked?"

"None of you will be naked and near each other! Now get back to patrolling!" He turned around, flowing his cape, and left the room. The two sighed and got out. They put their robes on over their bathing suits and left the bathroom. They started patrolling.

"Father always has to ruin everything. Why can't we just have fun?"

"Well to be fair we weren't doing the jobs we were given. I mean they did trust us."

"True.. whatever." The two continued walking and chatting.

"So what are you doing over the summer?"

"Nothing much you?"

"Well with you know who back.. my father is forcing me to become a death eater.. this is my last year of freedom."

"No... Draco I'm so sorry." She hugged the boy tightly. "I'll be there for you ok? You won't go through this alone."

"No Stephanie. I will not let you become one. Please. Don't do it."

"Fine.. but I'll help you guys. I won't become one but I'll aid him.. for you Draco."

"Thank you.."

"I'm so sorry Draco.."
