Forbes

"Madame Forbes," tawag ni Amore sa akin.

"Why?" I curiously asked.

"Are you sure that you're not going to accept her?" He asked pertaining to the woman who auditioned to be one of our models.

"Nah, I don't like her and her bratty attitude. It sucks," I said with disgust.

"Alright, next!" Amore shouted.

Narito na ako sa U.S matapos ang pangyayaring iyon. Dito ako nagpatuloy sa pag-aaral at ngayon ay nagpapatakbo na ng kumpanya namin.

"Hi, I'm Venice Suarez, twenty-one, from New Jersey," she introduced herself.

She's being covered for the magazine's "Most Influential People." Venice is a model, a rising model to be exact. Trending siya at talaga namang mabilis na nakikilala kung kaya't maraming tao ang humahanga sa kaniya.

Mariin lang akong nakatingin sa at pinapanood ang mga ginagawa nila. Photoshoot lang naman ito pero kahit ano pa man iyan ay gusto kong nakikita ko ang ginagawa nila.

"Pose gracefully!" utos ni Amore. Hindi ko nagustuhan ang pagngiti niya sa kamera dahil mukha siyang hostage na napilitang ngumiti dahil sa takot.

"Kalmahan mo lang, Cayene. Lahat ng nakakasama mo, e, natatakot sa 'yo," bulong ni Amore.

"Resignation or ejection?" I firmly questioned without looking at him.

"Trabaho, Madame," mabilis na agap niya't tumikhim.

"Is that how you pose? Do your best! You're going to be the magazine's cover. My goodness! Show your natural talent. Show them that you're really influential! Do not smile awkwardly, it's obvious," I strictly commanded.

I'm very hands on and strict when it comes to business. I don't care if they are well-known personalities. This is my business, not theirs. As much as possible, I want it to be better. Especially now that we have a lot of business rivals.

"I'm sorry, Madame Forbes, I'll do better this time," kinakabahang aniya.

"Do your best, not the better. I want what's the best for my company. Do it again," I snapped then pointed the camera.

"Nariyan naman ang mga empleyado mo, Cayene. Hayaan mo na sila ang gumawa," muling bulong ni Amore. Napairap na lang ako sa kakulitan nito. Kahit anong saway ko rito ay mananahimik lang siya sandali pagkatapos ay dadaldal na naman.

"It's okay, mas gusto ko sa akin mismo dumaan ang mga papasok sa kumpanya ko. Ayaw kong bara-bara lang," tugon ko.

"By the way, bakla, may meeting ka kasama ang Tanja Classics. May kumukuha rin sa iyo sa Vogue para sa seventy questions and make up tutorial mo," I raised my eyebrow with his last update.

"Tsk. Cancel my appointment to Vogue, I don't want to backstab this company. Baka isipin ng mga tao na may biglang collaboration ang Forbes at Vogue. Ang daming sikat diyan, bakit ako na naman ang napili nila, e, alam nilang magkatunggali tayo."

"But business is business---"

"Fine! What time?" Pagkasabi niya ng oras ay nagpaalam na kami na aalis na muna. Sumakay kami sa van at umuwi na ako sa mansyon.

"Where are they?" I asked the helpers.

"Kumakain po sila, Madame," tinanguan ko sila at dumiretso sa dining area kung saan naabutan ko silang kumakain at nagtatawanan.
