I Got The Music pt.1

JASMINE'S POV

Julie is at school and I'm officially bored. Luckily, today I'm supposed to hang out with Cassian. I walked in the garage, " Guys? You here?" I yelled. I waited for a minute to see if they would respond. When I didn't get an answer I just shrugged my shoulders and left.

" I was starting to think you wasn't gonna show" Cassian said to me as I walked up. " Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm here" I said with a smile as we started walking.

" So, this band, what's it like?" Cas asked curiously. " What do you mean?" I asked him, confused by what he meant. " Like, the music, instruments, songs, who's in. All that jazz" he explained a little more.

" Oh, well we are a rock band. But sometimes I write songs that are a little different from that genre, but those are just for me. Most of us play the guitar, Julie plays the piano, and Alex plays the drums. It's pretty cool" I explained.

" You write music?" He asked, I nodded. " Is it any good?" I shrugged my shoulders. " Nope, not at all. I keep them from everybody because I'm a terrible writer" I said sarcastically. Once he realized I was joking, he joined in laughing.

After joking for a while and getting to know each other a little more, he stopped me. " I don't want this to sound weird, but, are those your friends who keep following us?" He gestured his head to the side. I followed where he pointed, around the corner I saw Reggie, Alex, and Luke all watching us. I sighed, "Ignore them. I usually do. Besides, I'm the only one who probably has any functioning brain cells left" I grabbed his arm and kept walking.

3rd PERSON POV

The guys were following Jasmine. Reggie and Alex seemed a little skeptical with Luke because his whole reason for wanting to follow them was because 'he didn't trust them'. Which the guys were curious but not enough to follow them.

" Keep up. I'm telling you guys, I don't trust him" Luke ushered them to hurry. " You know what I think? I think you just don't like him because he's hanging out with Jas" Alex spoke up and Reggie agreed. " What? Why would you say that?" Luke asked.

" Maybe because, he's tall, cute, probably has a good personality. Basically her type. You feel threatened and it's ok" Reggie tried to place a comforting hand on Luke's shoulder, but he smacked it alway.

The sound of Jasmine's laugh brought them back to the topic at hand. " Did she just ignore us?" Reggie asked as Jasmine stared back at them and looked away. " She did" Alex confirmed. " See? What did I tell you? She wouldn't do that to us" Luke was slowly pulling Reggie onboard his crazy train. But Alex, definitely wasn't.

" So what? She's talking to him, he's making her laugh. Don't be an idiot and ruin this for her" Alex warned before he poofed out. " Where is he going?" Reggie asked but Luke ignored him. " Are you coming?" Reggie nodded his head and trailed behind Luke.

JASMINE'S POV

" So, how can Julie see you guys? I've never heard of that before" Cassian asked me with amazement. " I don't know. She played our CD one day. Now here we are" I moved my hands up and down my body. " That's so cool. You guys gotta let me come to one of your practices, or gigs" he stuttered while I just giggled.

Did I just giggle? I've never done that. " Maybe. But, I don't know. We take our work very seriously. Nobody even knows our set list" I tried being serious while I watched him try to hide his smile.

" I gotta go. Are we gonna hang later?" Cassian asked. " Maybe, now go. I've got important band stuff to do" he laughed as he rolled his eyes and walked off.
