Unsaid Emily pt.2

JASMINE'S POV

"Thank you" Emily said through her sobs. I felt a squeeze on my hand, I looked down to see Luke's hand holding mine. I don't even remember him grabbing it. I gave his hand a squeeze as I used my free hand to wipe the tears from my face.

" You... you have no idea..." Mitch couldn't find the words and neither could Emily. " I wrote music in the same room he did, and I can tell you it is a magical and happy place" Julie said with a smile. I looked at Luke as he dropped my hand. "That is so nice to know" Mitch said through sniffles.

" I know he was only 17 when he... But he loved doing the one thing he was born to do. Not many people find that, but Luke did. He was lucky" Luke looked at me and wiped his tears as he poofed out.

"Julie, can you ask them if they still talk to my parents?" I asked as I took off my necklace. "Do you guys know Jasmine Cove's parents?" Julie asked as she held her hand out slightly behind her so I could place the necklace in her hand. "Of course, we talk and eat with them all the time. Even her sister, Natalie" Emily said.

" Tell them to give it to them" I said as I wiped my tears away, again. " I found this in what I think is her bag. It was with a picture of her and her family. Can you give this to them?" Julie held the necklace out. "Sure. Thank you so much" I didn't stay any longer as I had to find Luke.

3rd PERSON POV

Jasmine walked up the steps of Julie's house to find Luke standing there. "Hey, I'm sorry. It's just that you hel-" Jasmine's words got cut off as Luke pulled her into a hug. " Julie and I didn't mean to overstep. We just knew you were hurting. We wanted to help" Jasmine said as she wrapped her arms tightly around him. She pulled away.

"You know, there is one thing that I'll give Bobby, well... Trevor" Jasmine said as she placed a hand on his cheek, her thumb wiping away tears. "What's that?" Luke said with a sniffle, closing his eyes and leaning in to her gentle touch. That's one thing Luke always noticed about her when it came to him, she was gentle. "He didn't take your most vulnerable and heartfelt song" Jasmine said as she wiped away the stay tears.

Luke still kept his eyes closed as felt the warmth of Jasmine's hand gone. He just wanted to stay in this calm moment with her forever. But, sadly, he knew that couldn't happen. So he opened his eyes to see Jasmine already staring at him. "I'll always be here. You know that" Jasmine reminded him with a smile.

" Thank you so much. You know that I didn't have many regrets except for walking out on my parents, especially my mom. Thank you" Luke said. "You and Julie helped me get the courage to give that song to my parents. Well, I actually didn't know till last minute, but... we just wanted to return the favor" she said with a smile. Luke smiled back but he felt bad.

" Jas, I'm sorry for ignoring you. It wasn't right and you've been so patient with me. It's crazy" Jasmine smiled again as she looked away a little as she blushed. Luke grabbed her hand so he could look at her in the eyes. "That was perfect. You're perfect" Luke said as he stepped closer, and this time, she didn't step back.

"Now, I think you're overstepping it" she said with a laugh as Luke smiled at her. "This is an interesting relationship you and I have" Jasmine blushed harder at the word relationship. She didn't even know Luke was thinking that this was something like a relationship. "Oh, for sure. We definitely have terrible timing. I haven't seen anybody with worse" Jasmine joked, causing Luke to smile brighter at her. Out the corner of her eye, she saw Julie coming up the steps. So she moved closer to Luke.

" Hey, I'm sorry for overstepping. It's just that you guys helped me feel closer to my mom and I wanted to return the favor" Julie said as she walked closer. " No, it's fine. Jasmine and I actually just talked about this. You guys helped me out a lot. Thank you" Luke said again.
