Betty and Jughead arrived at Dilton's bunker. They got off the motorcycle, and went to the bunker entrance. It was open, and they headed down the ladder. They got to the floor level of the bunker, and saw the scout sitting at the table there waiting for them.
"Hello," Jughead greeted the scout.
"Hello," the scout said.
"Hello," Betty said.
"Didn't I go on a date with you two years ago?" the scout said, recognizing Betty.
"Yeah," Betty said.
"Cool," the scout said, chuckling.
Jughead pulled the cash out of his pocket and said, "Here's the money you asked for."
Jughead handed the scout the money, and the scout took it, and put it in his pocket.
"Thank you kindly," the scout said as he pulled a piece of paper and the keys to the bunker out of his pocket.
"Here's the keys and the map to the bunker," the scout said, handing the items to Jughead, "If you get lost trying to find the bunker, just give me a call."
"Thank you so much for your help," Betty thanked the scout.
"No problem!" the scout said, "I'm just curious, is there a reason you wanted to keep all of this a secret?"
"Yeah," Jughead told the scout, "Our parents kicked us out for a certain decision we made about something that would completely define the rest of our lives, and now we're running away from Riverdale together."
"Oh, I understand. Parents don't always get our point of view, do they?" the scout insightfully responded.
"I know right! It sucks," Betty said.
Jughead put the items in his pocket and said, "Well, we better get going. I'm trusting you to keep this between us. Tell no one, even if people ask you anything."
"If that happens, just try to make up a story, or tell them you don't know anything," Betty told the scout.
"Will do! Let me know if you guys need anything," the scout said.
"We will, thank you for everything!" Betty said.
"You're welcome! Have a good rest of your day!" the scout said.
"You too!" Jughead said as they both climbed up the ladder.
They both got back on the motorcycle, and headed off to their new bunker.
They finally arrived at the new bunker, and, surprisingly, they had no trouble getting there at all even though it was hidden off super deep in the woods. Betty and Jughead were always smart that way, and that was one of the best aspects of both of their personalities. It's why they were always a great couple.
They got off the motorcycle and grabbed their stuff.
Before they went in the bunker, Betty asked, "Wait, Jug, where are you going to hide the bike?"
He looked around and saw a space in between some trees and bushes that would perfectly hide it in plain sight.
"Over there," Jughead answered as he pointed to the spot he was going to hide it in.
Jughead pushed the cycle into the space, and made sure he did whatever he could to make sure it was completely hidden.
"Perfect," Jughead said as he walked away from the bike back to Betty.
Betty smiled, and Jughead took the keys out of his pocket. He opened the lock to the vault like door then twisted the wheel. It immediately popped opened, and both of them saw a ladder. They started to climb down the ladder with their stuff.
They got down to the floor level of the bunker, and saw a short hallway with another door.
They walked down the hallway, and stood right in front of the door.
"Geez, how many locks are on this bunker?" Jughead asked.
Betty laughed, and Jughead looked for the right key to open the door.
He inserted the right key in the door lock and turned the knob to open the door. The door opened and both Jughead and Betty were amazed.
Dilton's second bunker turned out to be way nicer then his other one in Riverdale. It turned out to be like a small, petite underground mansion.
"Dilton really out did himself, didn't he?" Jughead said.
"He really did," Betty said with the biggest smile on her face.
They set down their stuff, and roamed and explored the bunker for a while.
The bunker had a full kitchen, a big bathroom with both a shower and a separate HUGE bathtub (it was almost like a jacuzzi that only needed to be filled), two bedrooms, and a perfect sized living room with a TV. The best part about the bunker was that it was completely furnished from top to bottom, so Betty and Jughead didn't have to worry about going out to get anything for the most part.
"Wow, this is..." Jughead started to say.
"Amazing." Betty said, finishing his sentence.
Both of them looked at each other with a huge smile, and Betty jumped into Jughead's arms and he spun her around as he kissed her. They eventually started making out, and Betty wrapped herself around Jughead, and he took her to the master bedroom (AKA their new bedroom).
An hour later, Jughead and Betty layed next to each other in their new bed.
"At one point, we're not going to be able to do this anymore for a while," Jughead said.
Both of them laughed, and Betty said, "You're right. I don't want to get double pregnant."
Both of them laughed hysterically, and Jughead asked, "Should we start putting away our stuff?"
"We probably should," Betty replied.
Both of them chuckled, got out of bed, and got dressed. They walked out of their room to get their stuff that they sat on the ground earlier. They picked up their stuff, and took it into their bedroom.
As they start sorting and putting their stuff away, Jughead asked, "Do you think anyone will find us here?"
"I don't think so," Betty answered, "I think the only people who know about this place are you, me, and those boy scouts."
Jughead nodded his head, and Betty asked, "Do you think we need to do anything else to ensure our safety?"
Jughead thought about this, and said, "We should probably turn off our phones' GPS, and get a new phone. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just one that we can both make calls and texts on and stuff like that if we need to."
Betty nodded and said, "We can't have anyone find out who we are...we should make fake names and identities. We don't have to come up with them right now, but we just have to come up with them for the future."
"I completely agree," Jughead said, "Basically anything that compromises us needs to be brought to light to be changed, fixed or rid of ASAP."
"Yeah," Betty agreed.
"You know what we also need to do?" Jughead said.
"What?" Betty asked.
"We need to find you a doctor, to make sure our baby is completely good and healthy," Jughead told Betty.
"Yeah, we do, don't we?" Betty said as she rubbed her right hand over her stomach.
Jughead went over to her and wrapped his arms around her stomach.
"We are so excited to meet you," Jughead said to Betty's stomach.
Betty giggled and kissed Jughead.
