Two days later, the Riverdale teens felt hopeless. They had lost their best friends and what was left of their emotional well being...even more so after what happened in their homeroom period on an early Wednesday morning.
The teacher was calling roll when suddenly, the principal, Mr. Honey, came on for the morning announcements.
"Quiet down, class," the teacher said as she heard the PA come on.
"Hello Riverdale High. It is in my deepest regrets to announce that the police have just filed two missing person reports for Elizabeth Cooper and Forsythe Pendelton Jones the third," Mr. Honey told the students of Riverdale High.
The room roared with the sound of hushed whispers, and Mr. Honey continued.
"If anybody knows anything directly related to their disappearance, go to the police immediately." Mr. Honey said.
The announcement ended, and as if anything couldn't get any worse, two policeman entered the room.
"Is Reginold Mantle here?" one of them asked.
Reggie stood up and asked, "That's me. What seems to be the problem, officers?"
One of the two policeman came up to Reggie and pushed him against the table he had been sitting at and pulled both of Reggie's arms behind Reggie's back.
"Reginold Mantle, you're under arrest for the possession and consumption of illegal drugs," the second officer said as the officer holding Reggie down grabbed his hands and cuffed him.
"But I didn't do-" Reggie started to say.
"Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law," the first officer interjected.
The officer pulled Reggie off from off the table, and both cops started to escort him out of the classroom as all of the students stared at him.
Reggie caught Veronica's eye and mouthed the words, "Help me."
Reggie and the cops left the classroom, and everyone was left in shock of what had just happened.
On the brighter side of things, it was Betty's first ultrasound today at the Centerville hospital.
Jughead and Betty were in the bathroom, getting ready to go to the hospital, making different appearance choices to make them unrecognizable.
Betty was straightening her hair instead of putting it in her usual iconic ponytail or curling it and asked Jughead, "Do you really think this is going to work?"
Jughead was combing all of his hair to the side and replied, "I really hope so."
Jughead put the brush he was using down and picked up the hair gel. He squirted some gel in his hand and started running it through his hair the way he had combed it. Betty finished straightening her hair, put the straightener down, and grabbed pink lip gloss. She started putting it on as Jughead went to go get dressed. He chose to wear blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and black sneakers.
After he got dressed, Betty finished putting lip gloss on, and she went to get dressed. Jughead went to the living room, sat on the couch, and waited for her.
Betty walked out with her hair as straight as ever, cute black glasses on her face, a cute gray sweatshirt like crop top on, skinny jeans, and said, "Hi."
"Hello," Jughead said in a flirty way as he got up and went up to her.
"Ready to go?" Betty asked as she handed Jughead a pair of black glasses.
"Ready as ever," Jughead said as he took the glasses, put them on his face, and they headed out.
Veronica and Archie went to visit Reggie in his holding cell, and Reggie was freaking out.
