Repeat: A Riverdale Fanfiction

Where Are They?

It had been two days since our modern day Romeo and Juliet had run away to Centerville to live in one of Dilton Doley's bunkers they now owned. The rest of our characters were still in Riverdale, waiting for a break from all this messed up shit they had been through.

The teens were on their way to their homeroom class, which was the first class of the day before first period.

Veronica was walking to class with Archie as she continued to worry about Betty.

Was she okay? Did she tell Jughead? Did she tell her parents? were some of the questions Veronica asked herself non stop after she found out Betty was pregnant with Jughead's baby. She also worried if Betty was still sick with headaches and nausea and if she felt any better.

Archie saw the worry on Veronica's face and gripped her hand.

"Are you okay, Ronnie?" Archie asked.

"I'm just worried about Betty...I have been this whole weekend..." Veronica replied.

Archie stopped and put his hand on the side of Veronica's face.

"Betty is a strong person. I'm sure she'll pull through like she always does," Archie told Veronica.

"You're right, I shouldn't worry so much," Veronica said.

Archie kissed Veronica and said, "We should get to class before we're late."

Veronica smiled, and Archie wrapped his arm around her.

They walked into their homeroom classroom and took seats in front next to each other.

All their friends, including Cheryl, Toni, and Kevin, happened to be in that class with them and they greeted and talked to each other before class started.

"Settle down, settle down," the teacher said a few minutes later, "I'm going to take roll; when I call your name say here."

"Archie Andrews?" the teacher called out.

"Here," Archie confirmed.

"Cheryl Blossom?" the teacher called out.

"Present," Cheryl confirmed.

"Betty Cooper?" the teacher called out.

No answer.

"Betty Cooper?" the teacher called out again.

No answer, again.

The teacher marked her down as absent, and continued on with the roll.

"Fangs Fogarty?" the teacher called out.

"Here," Fangs responded.

After a few minutes of calling a few more names, the teacher called, "Jughead Jones?"

No answer.

"Jughead Jones?" the teacher called out again.

No answer, again.

The teacher marked him down as absent, and called out, "Kevin Keller?"

"Here," Kevin said.

"Veronica Lodge?" the teacher called out.
