A few days before Betty's due date, Jughead snuck out to go and tell Seymour that he wasn't going to make deliveries for him anymore.

"What do you mean you can't deal for me anymore?" Seymour asked angrily.

"Call it fatherly leave, but I promised my girlfriend that I wouldn't deal anymore for the safety of our soon-to-be family," Jughead told Seymour.

"But you're one of our best dealers! And you've been sneaking out to do this anyway," Seymour mentioned.

"Yeah, but apparently I'm not that sly because I wouldn't be here right now if that were the case," Jughead said.

"Please! What can I do to make you stay?" Seymour pleaded.

"Make my girlfriend not pregnant, then, genius," Jughead said.

"I am begging you, I will triple the price, I will do anything you want!" Seymour begged.

Jughead backed away to the door and said, "I'm sorry, I can't be bribed."

Seymour hit his fist against the desk as Jughead went out the door.

Betty woke up unexpectedly very early in the morning, very thirsty. Betty got up carefully out of bed as not to wake Jughead from his slumber. She sundered into the kitchen, and opened up the fridge. As she reached for a water bottle, she felt an immense pain in her stomach. She closed the fridge, water bottle in hand, thinking it was only a casual cramp. The pain persisted, and got worse. She fell to the floor, and something gushed inside of her.

"Oh shit," Betty whispered.

She tried to get up, but her pain got so worse that she screamed.

Jughead heard her scream and went over to her quicker than 'The Flash'.

"Betty, what's wrong?" Jughead asked, as he came right by her side.

"Jug...I think I'm in labor..." Betty replied.

Jughead held her hands and said, "Let me get the bag we packed, I'll be right back, I promise."

He kissed her hands and ran as quickly as he could to go get his jacket, keys, and the bag they had packed.

Jughead put his jacket on, put his keys in his pocket, and slung the bag over his shoulder.

Before he left the room, he stared at himself in the mirror, ran his hands through his hair, and said to himself, "You're going to be a father, Jughead."

He smiled, and ran back out of the room to Betty.

"Grab my hand, Betts, I'll help you up," Jughead said.

Betty nodded, breathing heavily through the pain, and got up with Jughead's help.

As they went to the ladder to get out of the bunker, Jughead asked, "Do you need help getting up?"

Betty nodded, and Jughead picked her up, bridal style, and carefully and cautiously got her up the ladder.

They were now outside, and Betty started to cry.

"Jug, what if I can't do this?" Betty cried.

"I'll be here right by your side, and you're going to have to if you want to meet the twins," Jughead said as Betty laughed and cried.

They headed off on the motorcycle, with Betty gripping on Jughead more than she would regularly. After a few minutes, they arrived at the hospital, and they rushed inside to the front desk.

"Please I need help! My girlfriend's in labor!" Jughead said.

A nurse came out with a wheel chair, and Betty immediately sat down. The nurse, Betty, and Jughead ran quickly down the hallway into an empty room.
