Betty woke up tied to a chair in a hotel room in the Five Seasons, and saw a masked man in front of her, the mask looking like one of those from the tapes.

"Who are you and where am I?" Betty asked.

"You're back in Riverdale in the Five Seasons," the masked man answered, "I'm the guy who's been sending all the tapes."

"You son of a bitch!" Betty yelled as she pounded the chair on the floor.

"Sure, you can call me that, but you're the one who's tied up," the masked man said.

"Where's Jughead and the twins?" Betty asked.

"They could be anywhere at this point," the masked man answered distantly.

"Answer the damn QUESTION!" Betty demanded.

"Don't worry, I didn't take your precious twins or your boyfriend if that's what you're wondering," the masked man told her.

Betty sighed and asked, "What do you want from me?"

"Simple. I want you to call your boyfriend and convince him to take up his old job again and destroy his story about Mr. Honey and stop investigating me," the masked man told Betty.

"I can't just ruin his chances of going to college, and he didn't even write that about Mr. Honey," Betty said.

The masked man slapped her and yelled, "DON'T LIE TO ME!"

"Hurting me is not going to do anything. Slap me all you want, but you're not getting my boyfriend caught up in drug dealing again and ruining his life!" Betty yelled.

The masked man paused and said, "You know what fine, I'll give you a minute to cool off and think about this. Until you change your mind, you're going to be here alone until I come back, in isolation."

The masked man left the hotel, and Betty began to bawl out of anger, sadness, desperation, and loneliness without her children or her boyfriend.

On the other hand, Jughead was experiencing isolation too. I mean, it was great having the twins with him all day and having all this time to write and what not, but he felt like the time where he was faking his death was repeating again. He missed Betty and all of his friends.

Late that night, Jughead was writing the night away, waiting for Veronica and Archie to arrive. His phone suddenly started ringing with a pending call from an unknown number.

Jughead reluctantly picked up and greeted in a questioning tone, "Hello?"

"Hi Jughead. This is The Tape Man, and as you know, I have your girlfriend," the masked man told Jughead.

"What the hell did you do with her?" Jughead asked, enraged.

"Don't worry, I'll put her on," the masked man said as he put the phone up to Betty's ear.

"Jug?" Betty asked.

"Betty," Jughead said in awe.

"Listen to me. Whatever you do, protect the yourself and the twins with your life. Don't trust anyone, and don't come after me, you'll just end up getting yourself hurt. I love you, Jughead," Betty said as the masked man took the phone away from her.

"As you see, she is fine," the masked man said.

"You kidnapped her you psycho, she most certainly is not fine!" Jughead yelled into the phone.

"Until she does what I want her to, you won't be seeing her anytime soon," the masked man told Jughead as he hung up the phone.

Jughead threw the phone on the bed and yelled out of anger. He sat down on the bed, and ran his hands through his hair and started to cry.
