Betty woke up with excitement, got up, and went over to Jughead's side of the bed.
"Jughead, wake up!" Betty urged, trying to shake him awake.
Jughead hazily woke up and asked, "Why are we waking up again?"
"It's our first day back to school, Juggie!" Betty exclaimed.
"Oh right, of course, Betts," Jughead said as he kissed Betty.
Betty giggled, and ran to the bathroom to get ready. Jughead got up out of bed and went out of their room. He heard the twins crying and went to the nursery to comfort them.
"Cranky this morning aren't you, you little rascals?" Jughead said in his baby voice.
They continued to cry and Jughead went over to each of their cribs and scooped them into his arms.
He walked over with them to the rocking chair, and he carefully sat in the rocking chair and started lightly rocking the chair.
"You both don't need to cry, you have nice cribs, a nice room, and a nice home," Jughead quietly talked to them.
Betty had finished getting ready and was secretly watching Jughead try to calm down the twins.
"Well, what do we have here?" Betty rhetorically asked.
Jughead chuckled nervously and Betty walked over to him and said, "You're such a good dad, and you're so good with them. I'm glad to have you, lover boy."
"No, I'm lucky to have you. Without you, they wouldn't even be here, and I wouldn't have the most amazing family in the world," Jughead told her.
"I love you," Betty said.
"I love you too," Jughead said as they both kissed.
Their kiss was interrupted by the twins' cries, and the both gave this joking, annoying look to each other.
"I can handle this, Jug. You go ahead and get ready," Betty said.
Jughead got up out of the rocking chair, and handed the twins to Betty, and went to get ready.
After Betty fed them, they instantly went back to sleep and she put them both back in their cribs, and, as she left the room, she slowly and quietly shut the door to make sure she didn't wake them up.
Jughead finished getting ready, and Betty waited for him at the top of the staircase. Jughead walked out of the room, carrying their bags, with his beanie in hand.
"Are you ready for this?" Jughead asked.
"More than ever," Betty said determinedly with a sure smile on her face.
Jughead handed Betty her bag, and slung his over his shoulder as they went down the stairs.
"Looking great you guys!" FP complimented as he and Alice saw them coming down the stairs from the kitchen.
"Are you sure you both are ready for this?" Alice asked.
"Of course they are, Alice, just look at how determined they are," FP said as the couple chuckled and smiled.
"Just make sure you take good care of the twins!" Betty said.
"Yeah, please do, or she'll probably kill me," Jughead said as they all laughed.
"Okay, well, you two should probably get going or you'll be late," Alice said.
Jughead quickly put his beanie on, and said, "We'll see you guys later!"
