Everyone had gotten home from school, and Betty and Jughead had just gotten upstairs and laid their back packs down on the floor.

Jughead went to his side of the closet to look for party attire to wear that night, and Betty asked as she was in the bathroom, "Are you sure you're okay with going to this party? I mean, the last two parties you've been to haven't had such desirable outcomes, as you would say."

"I'm in the mood for some hell raising, and those were ruined by clueless idiots and murderers," Jughead responded, "I have a feeling this party will be different."

"As long as you're okay with it," Betty said.

Jughead pulled out a simple collared black and white plaid t-shirt with black pants and suspenders. He turned around to see Betty opening the door and coming out with her hair down in curls wearing a short, slik pink dress with heels.

"How do I look?" Betty asked.

"Stunning," Jughead answered.

Betty chuckled, and Jughead kissed her. Jughead quickly got dressed and asked Betty the same question.

"Handsome," she replied, as he put his beanie on.

"Ready to go?" Jughead asked as he offered his arm to her.

Betty clutched onto his arm and said, "Why, of course."

Jughead escorted Betty to the front door, and, as he was about to open it, Alice caught her eye on them.

"And where do you think you two are going dressed up like that?" Alice asked as she walked over in front of them.

"Archie's having a party at his house." Jughead said.

"We'll be back later," Betty said as Jughead opened the door for her.

"After you, my lady," Jughead said as Betty walked out the door.

"Elizabeth Cooper! You get back here right now young-" Alice started to say before Jughead closed the door behind him.

Meanwhile, before the party, Veronica and Reggie made a pit stop at La Bonne Nuit to make sure everything was in order for that night, because Fridays were usually when the business thrived most and when most of their best costumers came in.

As Veronica was finishing cleaning up the bar, Reggie came down with a package.

"This came in the mail today," Reggie said as he put down the box on one of the tables.

"Huh? We weren't expecting anything in the mail today. Can you open it to see what it is?" Veronica asked Reggie.

Reggie sliced the tape with one of his house keys, and opened the package.

"Oh my god." Reggie said as he saw what was inside the box.

"What is it?" Veronica asked as she came out from behind the bar and walked over to him.

She looked inside the box and terror filled inside her.

The box was filled to the brim with jingle jangle and fizzle rocks.

"Can you look to see on the box if there is a name or an address of the sender?" Veronica asked.

Reggie looked over the postage information, and replied, "There's nothing."

Veronica sighed and said, "What are we going to do now?"

"Hmm..." Reggie said with an idea in mind.

"What is it, Mantle?" Veronica asked.

"We could bring it to the party. All of it would be gone by the end of the night, and there'd be no trace of it after the party is all cleaned up by tomorrow." Reggie told Veronica.

Veronica thought about his idea for a minute and then responded, "Fine. Load it up in your car. When you bring it up, make sure you don't make it obvious to what it is."

"You got it boss," Reggie said as he closed the box, picked it up, and headed up the stairs.

Veronica's phone started to ring. It was Archie. She immediately answered it.

"Hey Ronnie. Are you going to be here soon?" Archie asked.

"Yeah, I'm heading over right now." Veronica replied.

"Okay, I'll see you soon." Archie said.

"Okay, I love you." Veronica said.

"I love you too." Archie said.

"Bye," Veronica said.

"Bye," Archie said.

Veronica hung up the phone, and grabbed her purse that she put on the coat rack. She went up the stairs, and shut the door.

Well, this is going to get very interesting, Veronica thought as she left for Archie's house.
