Chapter 18: So you're here to protect Lizzie?

Lizzie's POV:

I do listen when Hope tries talking to me! I always do....

Josie gave me the look that I should go and talk to her. I rolled my eyes and headed to the kitchen, Hope was leaning against the counter.

"Hey, I'm sorry for earlier" I smiled "if you really are a witch then I believe you"

She smiled back at me

"I know I don't say this alot but you are one of my best friends. And yes I am saying this knowing Josie is probably listening to this"

She let out a soft laugh "Did I really got Lizzie Saltzman to soften up on me?"

"Come here" I said annoyingly as I gave her a hug.

"We're done!" I yelled to Josie

Josie walked in and we all hugged for a bit.

"Okay okay that's enough" I said as I pulled away.

They both chuckled, I gave Hope the necklace "Here have it since I don't even need it and it's more important to you"

She took and smiled.

"So what are we gonna do now?" I asked

"I have no idea" Josie replied.

"Oh I know! How about we try out some spooky stuff"

They both looked at me in confusion

"Since Hope is a witch" I shrugged.

"I don't think that's a good idea" Hope said with concern.

"Oh cmon, it'll be fun"

"I mean why not?" Josie shrugged.

"Okay. But if something creepy happens we immediately stop" Hope said

"Ofcourse" I smiled

We headed upstairs in my room putting some candles around in a circle.

"I'll get the matches" I said as I turned around to walk out of the room.

"No need" Hope said

And with one look she lighted every candle in the room.

"Impressive." I said with a shocked face

We sat in a circle holding hands while Hope was mumbling something to herself.

Penelope's POV:

The necklace must have been really special if someone else was looking for it and that made me want it more.

I stood outside off Lizzie's house, thinking about how will I get her to give it back to me until I heard a voice coming from behind me.

"So you're a stalker?"

"Says the stalker!" I replied.

"What are doing here?"

"Were you following me?" I looked at Jade

"Well yeah, I knew you were up to something and that you're not telling me the whole truth."

I laughed "okay wanna know the truth? I found a book at the old mansion I got Seline to translate it for me since it was in......some weird language and then I found out that there was something about a ascendant and a necklace. It didn't bother me that much since I didn't know anything about it but at the founding party I saw the same necklace that was described in the book"

"So you stole it?"

"More like borrowed but whatever, it was safe with me until you decided to spike Lizzie's drink and have me captured in the basement for few days and now Lizzie has it."
