Penelope's POV:I didn't really get to talk to Jade yesterday since I found her drinking every blood bag we had in the house. I let it be I didn't want to be the worried friend....yet. But that was yesterday what if today she's gonna go back to feeding on little bunnies right?
I was sitting down on the couch in the living room trying to read a book but with that loud music it was kinda irritating. I threw the book aside, and went to grab a drink. I went to see what Jade was doing since she had to play the music so damn loud.
"Could you turn it down a little bit? It's not annoying yet." I said As I walked in her room.
"Sorry" she said as she stood up from the bed.
I went to turn off the radio.
"When you going back to school?" I smirked
"Soon."
"Oh, come on just drink already. Come on. This self-detox is unnatural." I said as I walked towards her.
"Could you get that away from me, please?" She said as she looked at the glass that I was holding.
"Sorry, my bad." I moved away from her "Anyways how long was it since you drank blood today?"
I could see her already struggling so it must have been since yesterday.
"I'll be fine. It just takes a little bit of time."
"I don't get it. You don't have to kill to survive. That's what blood banks are for. I haven't hunted a human for......uhm way to long." I said as I sat on the couch she had in her room.
"Oh, I'm impressed."
"It was completely self-serving." I sighed "trying to get the town off the trail of vampires, which is not very easy, considering there's more of them running around thanks to Sebastian." I said as I put my glass of blood on the counter and stood up.
"What are we planning on doing about that?"
"We're not gonna be doing much of anything if you don't have your strength back."
She fake smiled and looked at the floor.
"There's nothing wrong with partaking in a healthy diet of human blood from a blood bank. You're not actually killing anyone."
"I have my reasons"
"Well, what are those reasons. You know, we've never actually discussed that. You know I'd love to hear this story."
"You're really enjoying this, aren't you, just watching me struggle?" She said crossing her arms.
"Very much so." I smirked
"I hate to break it to you, Penelope, but....uh....I actually have it under complete control."
"You do?"
She nodded
"Oh. Well, then you should just carry on making the rest of us vampires look bad." I smiled "have a great day, Jade" I said as I walked out of her room.
I did realise I left the glass of blood in there and I could feel her heartbeat beat faster.
I walked back in the room to get it. "Oh. Hey, I almost forgot something." I said as I picked up the glass. "Oops." And I left
Josie's POV:
