Josie's POV:

I held onto dad while my eyes were bursting with tears, I didn't know what to do. I couldn't move from him, I just sat there sobbing. Until my phone started to ring, I didn't want to pick it up but it was Jade. I picked it up, "Hey, just checking everything ok-"

She stopped mid sentence when she heard me crying, "Josie?! Everything okay?" She raised her voice.

"H-He's.....Dead, Jade." I mumbled in the phone.

"Who?! I'm on my way." She hung up.

She arrived in no time, I explained everything that happened. Well, I tried.

"It's Sabrina....she got under her skin. She saw the ring right?" She asked.

I looked at her, "what ring?"

"He didn't tell you? Your dad has a ring that somehow brings him back from the dead."

I quickly checked his hand. I felt a slight relief.

"So...he's not dead?"

"He's suppose to wake up any moment." She reassured me.

It still didn't stop me from sobbing.

"That's why she did it, she knew."

"She didn't see the ring, Jade." I said with anger.

"She destroyed every good thing there was about her." Jade mumbled.

"There's nothing good about her, Jade. Not anymore, she decided what she wants, she doesn't want to feel, she wants to be hated, It's just easier that way. She got her wish."

Jade walked next to me, "I hate her, Jade." I sobbed.

Jade looked at me, I could never forgive Penelope for what she did.

Suddenly dad woke up, panicking about what happened, "it's okay, dad. I'm here." I reassured him.

"She killed me!" He said gasping for air.

Lizzie's POV:

"Cmon smile, you're able to go home." I looked at Rafael who was getting ready to leave.

He chuckled, "home? Lizzie this is not home for me."

"Why not? You're mom is the Mayor's wife. You are home." I smiled.

"I don't know, Mom didn't even stop by. Mother of the year, right?" He joked.

But I knew he was hurt, He's right. Why didn't his mom stop by? I mean he's still her son. No one actually came to visit, apart from me. I literally lived here with him.

"Let's get you home." I smiled.

He smiled back and we headed to his house.

"Thank you, Lizzie. For being there for me." He smiled.

"What are friends for?"

Oh god that's not what I was meant to say! Friends? We're dating right!

He looked at me a little confused.

"I mean-"

Before I could finish what I was about to say, his mom opened the front door.

"Rafael, I'm glad you're home." She smiled giving me her creepy stares.

By the way, The mayor doesn't like me for some reason.

Rafael didn't respond to that and just walked past her in the house.
