"I can't die yet. You're coming with us medical ninja."

Sasuke saw the portal activate on Shin and he immediately understood what was going on.

"Sarada!" he screamed hoping that his daughter will understand. There was no time to explain.

"I know!" he couldn't see what was going on but he heard the sound of a weapon being thrown. "Mom, I'm gonna..."

"Don't get in our way!"

Sasuke saw the weapons being thrown at her daughter. Before he could something, Sarada finished her previous sentence. "Protect you."

She avoided them and he understood that she had activated her Sharingan. The punch she gave made him realise that Sakura had raised her right. She was a small version of her wife.

"Sarada..." he said with a smile. He couldn't be more proud of his little girl.

After landing a failed attack on Naruto, all the clones calmed down.

"You're way too soft..." he said to his friend.

"They're still kids." Naruto replied with a smile. "We have to teach them what's right or wrong."

Sasuke glanced at Shin. "Carrying on Itachi's will, huh? You really didn't understand a thing about him." no one could understand a thing about Itachi other than him, Sakura and Naruto.

"Sarada!" he turned around reacting to Sakura's voice and saw his wife hug their child. "You had me so worried!" his eyes couldn't move away from her Sharingan. The cursed eyes. Now that she had it, she was a target.

"I'm sorry." it sounded like she was about to cry.

"I'm so glad you're okay..." he could see Sakura squeeze her tighter.

Just as he thought Sarada was about to cry, she said something that did make him smirk. Maybe she was a little like him after all.

"You're squishing me, mom!"

Sakura immediately let go. "Oh, sorry."

Before one of them could see that he was looking, he looked back at Naruto.

"Dad." he heard.

Acting like he didn't see the whole thing, he looked at them. Sarada was standing and facing him. It was still hard for him to look at her. She looked so different.

"Are your feelings really connected with Mom's?" the question hit him in the chest hard. "How can you say that for sure?"

He didn't need to think twice about his answer. He turned around and looked at her. "Because you exist, Sarada."

Through his eyes, he tried to show her every memory that he had of him and Sakura and he was telling her how much love there was between them. She seemed to understand it because she instantly looked like she was going to cry. He walked over to them.

They all walked back to Konoha and for once he didn't hesitate to do the same. He was by Sakura's side and when the gates stood in front of them, he saw Ino and Choji there.

Sarada was already talking to them when him, Naruto and Sakura arrived.

"Sasuke!" shouted into. "It's been a while!" she waved at him and started to approach when Sarada stood in front of her. "What..." she murmured.
