Chapter 5

"Gosh! Napakatagal naman ng iba! It's so mainit na!" reklamo sa akin ni Stephanie.

"Just wait okay?" I calmed her down baka mamaya eh sugurin niya yung organizer.

She just stumped her feet on the ground before walking away. 6 a.m na at nandito kami ngayon sa parking area ng aming kumpanya at naghihintay sa mga staffs and volunteers para sa Oplan: Abulug na dumating. Dahil sa pagkabagot at pagka-uhaw ay napagdesisyunan kong pumunta sa isang convenience store para bumili ng kape.

I just bought two bottled coffee and two donuts. I was about to give other bottled coffee and donut that I bought for Stephanie when I saw her talking to Alistair while eating instant ramen, I guess. This girl, aish.

"Good morning," Klux greeted me.

"Good morning." I greeted him. Napadapo ang tingin ko sa dalawang kape at donut na nasa tabi ko. Kinuha ko ang isa at iniabot ito kay Klux. He looked at me with an amused reaction but in the end kinuha niya rin ang mga ito.

"I'm not a fan of chocolate flavored donut. But thanks,"

Lihim akong napangiti habang umiinom ng kape. Why do I feel so comfortable with him? Kahit na ilang araw pa lang kaming magkakilala. I was about to put the empty bottle at the trash can when a scene suddenly flashed on my mind.

"Come on! Taste it! It's sweet and delicious!" a girl shouted on the guy who was seating beside her.

"I'm not a fan of chocolates but—" the girl cutted him off by putting a spoon with a piece of chocolate cake on his mouth.

"What the hell," the guy said before drinking the juice on the table. While the lady was just laughing at him.

Nabitawan ko ang hawak kong bote at napahawak ako sa aking ulo. Fuck! What was that?! Who are they?

"OMG! Elle!" Stephanie ran towards me. "Are you okay?" she asked.

I just nod and seated on the nearest bench. I was about to tell Sstephanie what happened pero biglang dumating si Klux.

"Anong nangyari?" malamig na tanong nito.

"I don't know. Nakita ko lang siyang hawak ang ulo niya at mukhang nahihilo." Nag-aalalang paliwanag ni Stephanie. "Did you just remembered something again?" mahinag tanong nito pero alam kong narinig iyon ni Klux dahil napatingin din ito sa akin.

"No." I lied. " Siguro dahil ito sa mga puyat ko these past few days and sa aga kong nagising kanina."

They just nod both but Stephanie seems not convinced. Mabuti na lang at nagtawag na yung organizer upang i-announce daw ang mga buddies namin. Parang camping.

"Good morning! Today we will be travelling to Sitio Tayak, Siguiran, Abulug, Cagayan for the Oplan: Abulug hosted by the Meredith Pharmaceutical Company, Chua Medical and of course the Lopez Group of Companies." Pumalakpak ang lahat dahil sa sinabi ng baklang organizer. " Before we go, I will announce your ka-buddy." This time naghiyawan naman sila.

"This are arrange by the Presidents of MPC and CM," panimula nito. "Mercado and Santos,"

"Juarez and Kim,"

"Batara and Cruz."

"Ygnacio and Hernandez,"

"What?! For real?!" napabaling ang lahat kay Stephanie. Gosh! Ang kalat ha.

The gay organizer just winked at her and show the paper to Stephanie. Walang nagawa ang bruha kundi ang lumapit kay Ali. They continued announcing until narinig ko na ang apilyedo ko.
