All anyone was talking about was Brittany's recent episode of Fondue for Two. She had basically told the entire school that Santana was gay. I didn't know she was officially ready to come out of the closet, but I needed to find her and talk to her about it. Prom was rapidly approaching, causing more and more posters to go up every day. The school newspaper had started up again for some unknown reason. They appointed Becky as their newspaper girl, which was smart in retrospect. If you refused to take a newspaper, she would just throw it at your face.
She came by me and forcefully gave me the new edition. I tried to thank her, but she just continued down the hallway. Nothing super spectacular was going on in the school this week. I could tell other girls who were reading the newspaper were giving me side glances. I kept reading ahead until I saw something that almost made me punch my locker. I knew we had Glee soon, so I would confront Sam now.
I stormed into the choir room, holding the newspaper in my hand. It seemed that Finn had found the same article because he was storming in as well. "What the hell Sam?" I asked him.
He looked like he was already talking with Quinn before I came in. He turned towards me and looked like he was ready to say something, but I decided to cut him off. He didn't get to explain himself right now. "So now you're having late night rendezvous with Quinn? I know we haven't gone official, official, but I thought we kind of had a mutual agreement."
Before Sam could explain himself, Quinn came to his defense. "You don't seriously believe that do you?"
"Well I don't know Quinn, I wouldn't put it past you to do something like this." I tried to be as snarky as possible.
"What is that supposed to mean?" She stood up and puffed out her chest.
"I think you know exactly what I mean by that," She started to walk closer to me and I was mentally preparing myself to fight her. Sam and Finn had beaten us to it however. They started shoving each other until Mr. Schue was able to break the two of them up. Finn stormed off, yelling that he was going to skip rehearsal for the day. I knew I wouldn't be able to make it through all of rehearsal today without wanting to slap Quinn across the face, even if I didn't look at them.
"I'm gone too." I threw the newspaper to the side of the room and ran out of the room. Tears started welling up in my eyes. They were more tears of anger than tears of sadness. I couldn't believe Sam would do something like that to me, especially after he knew what it felt like for himself.

Tina was able to convince me to come back to rehearsal the next day. I tried to keep my head low and walked directly to the back corner of the room. I still hadn't processed what happened and I didn't know what I was going to say to Sam. It seemed Finn and Quinn had somehow worked out their differences because they sat down next to each other.
When Sam walked in, he had a somber look on his face. Everyone seemed to be uncomfortable with each other. Not many people were talking. Mr. Schue and a small, blonde lady walked into the choir room. Although she looked tiny, she acted as if she had twenty Red Bulls before she came into the school. They both took their places center and motioned to the band.
~Dreams (sung by Mr. Schue and April Rhodes)~
We cheered them on once they finished. Mr. Schue walked over to the whiteboard and wrote "Rumours" on the board.
"Rumours, a classic record by Fleetwood Mac. One of the greatest albums of all time. Written as the band was falling apart. To keep it together. Now this week, we are done with the backstabbing and the gossip, and we're challenging all of that energy into working with each other."
