News of Santana's slap had flooded the school. Most people didn't even know why. Some people said it's because they were seeing each other and he didn't want to leave Rachel for her (I don't even know how people could think that would be plausible). While Finn and Santana were in their meeting with Figgins, Brittany tried to fill me in on everything. She gave me the basics, but there were some strange parts. Like how Finn originally was made at Santana because she had stolen his easter eggs from last year and the pain was just building up.
I saw a text from Finn to all the Troubletones, "Come to the choir room!" The choir room? What were they trying to do, give us less rehearsal time for Sectionals so they could try to beat us? Walking back into the choir room was slightly strange, but comforting. It actually made me feel like we were working together again, like a team. Mercedes asked what we were all thinking, "Can somebody tell me what's going on here?"
Finn walked up to the whiteboard in Mr. Schue fashion and wrote, "Lady Style Music". "This week, the New Directions and Troubletones will both be singing music created by ladies and for ladies."
"Oh hell no." Santana spat out.
"Next week, all of us will be doing head-to-head at Sectionals and one of us is going to win. But Santana, we're worried about you."
"Worry about yourself fetus face." Even in sentimental moments, Santana could be just a straight-up bitch. It's okay to refer to her as that because she refers to herself as one on multiple occasions.
"Glee's learning about learning to accept yourself for who you are, no matter what other people think. And that's what all this music is about."
"Wait, I don't even get a say in this? Not cool."
"Everybody in this room knows about you and Brittany. And we don't judge you for it. We celebrate it because it's who you are. Look, I know not everybody outside this room is as accepting and cool, but we're doing this assignment this week so that you know in this rotten, stinking world, you at least have a group of people who support your choice of being who you are. That's what we're doing here. Blaine? Kurt?"
Blaine and /kurt made their way to the front, with Kurt wearing some strange looking half sweater. All I know is that he could pull it off, meaning that I couldn't.
"Santana, Kurt and I have a song we like to sing to each other in the car. And we'd like to sing it for you now."
"Well there's nothing more I'd love than having two Pretty Ponies serenade me. I'd think we'd get further staging a gel-vention for Blaine than singing lady music." Clearly, the lesson wasn't getting through to her.
"I know it's hard. It was hard for me too."
"But you can get through this, if you could stop being so defensive."
"I'm trying, but your hideous bow-ties are distracting me."
"Wait, are we talking lady on lady or girl on girl? Cause there's a big difference," Puck asked. Everyone turned towards him with either a puzzled or disgusted look on his face. Apparently he wasn't listening to Finn's whole speech either.
Mr. Schue had finally had enough of this back and forth bickering. "Focus Puck, okay? Kurt, Blaine, who don't you kick us off with what you've got?"
~Perfect (sung by Kurt and Blaine)~
Throughout the performance, everyone kept glancing back at Santana, trying to see if she was enjoying herself. It was mainly Finn, who was trying to see if his lesson was a good idea. We all cheered for the two of them, who were so adorable by the way.
