✖Jay's P.O.V.✖
I pulled on some skinny jeans, a cute sweater, and my uggs. I did my usual with makeup: Mascara. I curled my hair (I know, I actually put effort into it!) and let it fall down to its full length which was a little bit above my chest.
I smiled. I didn't look terrible! I grabbed my phone and put it in my back pocket. I ran upstairs and said goodbye to my family. I ran outside and hopped in my car. I had an early birthday so I had gotten my license pretty early. I flexed my hands, this was my first time driving it. I started the ignition and relaxed, tonight would be great.
I pulled up to the school parking lot and hopped out of my car. "Jay!" Someone screamed. I turned around to see Tyler running towards me. She ran up to me, "Hey! I have so much to tell you! But you're probably wondering why I'm here. Okay, so I'm not going to worry about what Nick says. Honestly, I don't care anymore. I have more important things in life." I smiled, "Wow Tyler. It sounds like somebody finally got their priorities straight!" We laughed and walked to the bleachers together.
We sat down after getting drinks and cotton candy. It was loud and chaotic, just like a high school football game should be. Tyler and I cheered like everyone else. Soon the loudspeaker came on, "Okay everyone! Welcome to Webster High's first home game! Let's show some love to our head cheerleader Stephanie Wilcox!" The crowd cheered as Stephanie came out with her blonde hair in the highest phony tail that I'd ever seen and in the shortest skirt is ever seen too. She brought her other cheerleader buddies on and they began to do their little show. "She is so overrated." Tyler said from next to me. I nodded, "Welcome our football team!" Everyone cheered.
Ryker saw me and waved, I waved back. Tyler made kissy noises and I elbowed her. "Jay, that's not fair. You tell me often enough that I can't hurt you, and I can't but you CAN hurt me! So stop!" We laughed. "Hey." Someone said from next to us. I looked over to see Will, I didn't mind he was cool. Tyler minded apparently; she almost fell out of her chair when he sat next to her.
"Woah, Tyler. Chill." I laughed. Will just smiled at Tyler and Tyler tried to not fall out of her chair. I looked over at the field to see that we were neck to neck with Union High, the opposing team. I yelled and cheered. The team could do this I knew it.
An hour later it was game point and we were tied with Union High again. I waited anxiously. "Come on Ryker, come on!" I muttered under my breath. The whistle blew, that was it! Ryker had scored the winning point! I ran down the steps to meet him and grabbed him in a hug. A second later we looked at each other and realized what was happening, we let go. I scratched the back of my head. it was so awkward
"Nice job... In the game..." We stared at each other and then Stephanie ran over. "Great job babe!" She kissed Ryker and I rolled my eyes, I started walking away. I heard someone run up and sling an arm around my shoulders, "Don't worry. I'm never making that mistake again." I smiled and pushed Ryker's arm off of me. "Yeah fine. You're forgiven." We smiled at each other and I got a fuzzy feeling inside. Oh no, not again!
