"Ryker! How was your first day of school?" Lyla asked beaming. "Um...good. What are you doing here?" He said, he was clearly as confused as I was. "We'll I'm having coffee with Mrs. Brewer, who I met at work. Why are you here?" Lyla asked glancing at me. "I gave Jay a ride home." She nodded and went back to where my mom was and continued the conversation.
I walked downstairs to my room but ran into Jason on the way, "Jay! have you seen Axel? Wait. Who's that?" Jason said staring at Ryker. I was about to say no one when Ryker decided that he would do the honors, "Hey, I'm Ryker. What's up?" I could tell that Jason was already liking Ryker. I kept walking.
When I reached my room I was surprised to find Axel in there. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Looking for your backpack. Oh, there it is. Thanks." He walked past me and grabbed my backpack. "Give it back Axel! Seriously, I need that!" I yelled trying to grab it from him.
Ryker chose that time to walk down the stairs. "Axel? You're Jay's brother?" Why did he know everyone in my house? "Dude! Ryker, what's up? Oh and yup, this is my sister." I grabbed my backpack out of his hands and stormed into my room. I was SOO done with Ryker Hollister. The sooner he left my life, the better.
