My eyes fluttered open. The first thing I thought of was last night. Last night was great, I lost Tyler eventually but I had called her later and she said that she had gone to see a movie with Will. I got out of bed and went upstairs to breakfast. When I got there my mom ran up to me, "I have big news! Do you remember when Lyla and I had done..." my mom began explaining a project that she and Lyla had worked on together for work' "Well, we won!" Uh-oh, I had zoned out. I didn't know what she had won. "Honey, we won a trip to a five star hotel!"
I understood now, "Sweet mom. That's great." I walked over to the counter. "Im not done yet. Since you're my only daughter I'm bringing you along. We won five tickets. I let Lyla keep three and I kept two. We leave the day after tomorrow I suggest you pack. It's for three nights and pack dresses. We have to go to some dinner parties for work." My mom left the kitchen. What? She didn't even ask!

I walked inside my room to find a picture of a hotel on my bed. "Hey Mom! Why is there a picture of a hotel on my bed?" My mom ran downstairs, "Because you're going there the day after tomorrow! Rachel and I are coming too of course." She left my room. "What? Mom! You can't just-" My mom interrupted me, "Oh but I already did. Love you!" Looks like I was going out of town.
