✖Jay's P.O.V.✖

I ran outside to find that it was raining hard. I had forgotten my jacket inside; it was freezing I ran until I finally stopped at a park across from the country club. I sat down on the swing and let the icy chill of the raindrops hit my skin over and over again.

I was emotionless. I had expected this to come. I put my face in my hands, "This is what you get, Jay. You broke the pact and liked a boy and surprise! Your heart got broken." I said aloud to myself. My phone rang and it was a text from Em.

Em: I'm not sure where you went with Ryker but I know you can handle yourself. Anyways, check this out! She's been leading a double life!

Her text had a video of "The Edge" playing. They introduced all their members and surprisingly enough Tyler was one of them. She got onstage and sang her heart out. She sounded great. I smiled, I was happy for her.

Someone ran towards me and I stood up. It was Ryker. His hair was drenched but who was I to judge, mine probably was too. I didn't look at him. "Jay, I-" Once again I interrupted him, "Just go find some girl to kiss Ryker. I'm going home." Ryker sighed, "Could I please just finish one sentence? Okay, Jay I didn't know that you liked me. In fact, I was going to tell you like I liked you. I needed to tell you because I thought you didn't like me and-" I interrupted him again but this time it was different.

I kissed him. I felt like we were in a whirlwind of fireworks, bells, the whole thing. It was perfect. We broke the kiss. Ryker smiled and grabbed my hand, "So... Do you want to go back to the dance?" He asked. I shook my head, "I think I've had plenty of excitement for the night." I smiled.

"Want to go see a movie?" He asked. I nodded, "Sure." We started walking towards his car when he stopped. "To finish this cliché moment." He put his jacket on me and I rolled my eyes, "Your so cheesy." He smiled and we hopped in the car.

I went over the facts in my head: I had my first kiss with Ryker Hollister in the rain. Honestly, I couldn't have imagined it any better.
