"Why? Joy has been our friend for like three years!" Em was holding Tyler while Riley and I were talking about Joy. "I don't know why she would do it. But I believe that she did. Haven't you noticed how were she's been acting lately?" Riley had a point. The usually sunny Joy had been a real jerk lately. "She's been weird since you started hanging out with Ryker." Em piped in. "Wait. Has anyone even seen Joy since the accident?" Riley was right. I needed to find Joy.
I walked through the house. I needed to find Joy and hear the story from her. I walked around and finally I sat down in the kitchen.
I needed to find Joy but what was I going to do when I found her? Hi Joy, I know that we've been great friends for years but everyone thinks you spiked your own friends drink. Yeah... no. That wouldn't end well. I let my mind drift, maybe I would think of something to say to Joy when I found her.
I began daydreaming about Ryker. I hadn't told anyone about me liking him but Tyler, Em, and Riley could tell. Instead of deciding what to say to Joy I decided on something else. I was going to tell Ryker that I liked him. I stood up, I could do this.
I was ecstatic, I was finally going to do it. I was nervous, and it took a lot to make me nervous. I walked into the living room and immediately saw something terrible. Ryker was kissing another girl.
