Chapter 20

✖Will's P.O.V.✖

I walked out of my band practice and towards the parking lot. I realized that I left my guitar tuner in the back stage of the auditorium and ran back to get it.

I opened the door that read backstage and immediately heard the song Riptide being played. The person singing it sounded amazing, they had an awesome voice. I began slowly walking towards the curtain and peeked around it.

It was Tyler. She was playing the piano and singing. Dang, she sounded awesome. I couldn't help it I started to hum along. My humming slowly evolved into singing. Soon Tyler and I were singing a duet and we sounded great. I walked out from backstage and Tyler saw me. She freaked out.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I didn't know you had practice! I'll go. Now. I am so sorry!" She grabbed her bag and started running. I ran after her.

"Tyler wait up!" I grabbed her hand before she could go any farther, "You sounded great, why would you be sorry for that?" She blushed, she was adorable when she blushed. "I...um... thanks. I love that song." I smiled "Me too." We talked about music for a long time until her phone rang. "Hello? Oh..hi Nick. I'm sorry! Look, all that happened was I went to the school! I don't have to tell you why. Fine, I'm sorry. Bye." She hung up. She looked up at me, "I have to go. Thanks Will." She turned around.

I grabbed her hands. "Hey Tyler? Why do you stay with him? You're amazing and beautiful and any guy that doesn't treat you like that doesn't deserve you." Tyler shook her head. "It's fine. It's just a new relationship, it'll get better." She tried to walk away again but I still wouldn't let her. "Tyler. Please, if he ever does anything, if he ever treats you wrong. Tell me and I'll kill him. Okay?" She chuckled "Why do you care so much? I just met you yesterday." She asked. This was it, "Honestly, I fell in love with you the moment I saw you." She smiled but then she looked sad, "Will... I'm... I think I have feelings for you too but... Nick. I had feelings for him for forever." I nodded. "I won't push you, just let me know if you ever need help." I said bye and started walking away.

"Will wait!" I turned around and Tyler ran into my arms. I looked at her and was about to ask what she was doing when she kissed me. There were crazy fireworks. She let go of the kiss. "I'll call you. I have to go talk to some people." She smiled and I gave her my number. "Bye!" She ran towards the opposite side of the school.

I got in my car. I didn't know how this would turn out but currently, I was enjoying it. I smiled, I just realized that I had never actually gotten my guitar tuner.
