I woke up the morning after the party to the sound of nothing. There was no alarm clock. It was perfect.

I walked upstairs with my hair in a messy bun and in my bunny pajamas. I saw Axel talking to someone very roughly. I looked around Axel to see Ryker.

My eyes widened. Ryker saw me, "Jay!" I ran back down the stairs and was soon followed by Ryker.

I ran into my room, shut the door, and leaned against it. Oh my gosh! What was he doing here? Every time I tried to get away from him, he always came back. Not even my own house was safe anymore.

"Jay! Let me in, please! I swear I can explain. Just give me a chance." Ryker said from the opposite side of the door. I smiled, I knew how this would go. I had seen movies, he would tell me that he knew why I was upset and then (with a little conversation) we would be together. Wait! No, nope I don't like Ryker Hollister. I DON'T.

I opened the door. I was going to conquer this. I opened my mouth and began to speak when Ryker interrupted me, "I'm so sorry. I know why you were upset." Wait...what? It was really going to happen! "You do?" I asked with a questioning look. Ryker stepped into my room from the hall.

"Yeah. I heard about your," He leaned in so that our lips were almost touching, "Gym accident in sixth grade." He smiled and his light freckles looked just... WHAT? "Oh my gosh. You heard about that?! I...um...you... uh." I punched him in the arm. "You're never going to let me forget about that now are you?" He shook his head, "Never. Are you still mad?" He actually looked concerned. "Nope. We're good, just try and make better choices when it comes to girls."

He sat down on my bed. "I'm working on it. You have to prove that you're not mad at me anymore." I sat down next to him, "Okay, what do I have to do."
I smiled, I was ready for anything. "You have to go to my football game tonight." He smirked "Think you can handle it?" I smirked too. "Bring it on."
