Shawn has been on his best behaviour the last two weeks. He hasn't left, he hasn't lashed out, and he's been relatively nice to Victoria. I'm so glad he's here with me. He's been holding my hand, showing affection in public, just doing genuine boyfriend shit with me, and it feels good. This is the longest we've lasted and I hope it doesn't end here.

Victoria has been on her best behaviour too, apartment hunting and shit. I assume she'll move out straight after she tells mom and dad of the new wild and care free life she wants to live. I mean, I don't see the problem. You only have one life so live it, but my upscale self proclaimed high class mother will obviously see it differently.

The attention will most likely be taken off her when my mom finds out Shawn is living here though. She'll be fucking mortified and won't let it happen, and I can't let him stay, she'll find a way to get him out, even if in the middle of the night she physically picks him up and throws him out. She's fucking crazy like that. I don't have to think about that shit though, for another month. It has been long though and maybe I should see if my dad is okay with the nagging of that control freak with him.

"What?" Shawn groans from on top of me, turning his head in the other direction but tightening his grip around me.

"Stop fucking drooling on me." he lifts his head up to look down at my stomach and smiles before wiping it away.

"Sorry." He chuckles.

"You need to get up." I shake him and he moves off me but hugs a pillow next to me.

"Where are you going?"

"Skype with my dad." I answer and he nods before falling back asleep. He really is lazy as shit.

I get out on to my balcony and try and connect the skype call, I don't know what I'll say to him, I've never... done this. He's been on business trips before, none like this, but even so I've never stayed in contact with him. I never really cared.

"Hi Ella." He waves when the call connects.

"Hi." I smile. "What have you been up to?"

"Same old, same old. Mainly business meetings but it's so cool here, on the weekends I go out into the village and talk to some of the kids. Tomorrow I want to get some supplies and make a soccer pitch... You know help keep them off the streets." He shrugs, clearly embarrassed. My mom has been such a bitch her whole life it has shred any little confidence he had. It's ridiculous because he's a nice person, and all he wants to do is a nice thing that I'm sure my mom doesn't care about. She only cares about her stupid fucking business.

"You should do it." I smile. "You should be having fun on your trip."

"You're right... I might do it tomorrow." His smile grows wider. I'm surprised he's not in a suit but it's probably night time back there.

"Where's mom?" I ask, hoping she isn't listening to this conversation. I want to tell my dad about Shawn without her there.

"Asleep in the bedroom." He nods towards the door of his room. "Why?"

"Well I have something to tell you..." I trail off, although we're starting this father daughter shit from scratch I don't know how he'll take this.

"How bad is it?" He runs his fingers through his black hair and sighs. I don't really want to disappoint or stress him out but I want to tell him before Victoria opens her mouth.

"Not that bad... I don't think." I shrug. After he nods I sigh trying to think of how the fuck I can possibly put this. "Well, I'm... I, I've been hanging out with Shawn lately." I shrug.
