Y/N smiled into the hand and turned around.

"Xi!- Childe?"

Y/N smiled was immediately lost when she saw the smiling boy in front of her.

"Happy to see you too" Childe joked.

One knight was getting dangerously close to their hiding place however.

"Come with me" Childe whispered and grabbed
Y/N's hand dragging her through the city quietly.

Childe stopped abruptly making Y/N smash into his back.

"Hey! J missed you to but don't you have a boyfriend?" Childe laughed and Y/N blushed.

"H-how did you know?" Y/N said flustered and covering her face.

"Well you guy aren't very secretive" Childe said referring to when Xiao and her had....yeah.

Y/N wailed at the embarrassing moment.

"Don't worry it was just me" Childe tried to calm her down.

"I hate you. Every time we meet you send my into a cardiac arrest" Y/N laughed out of breathe.

Childe laughed but something felt off about his behavior.

He seemed sadder.

Y/N leaned on her side to look behind him.

"So....what's this all about?" She asked referring to the masks and mysterious door behind him.

"I-uh that's for another time! What's important is that your not in harms way anymore!"

High up on top of one of the houses sat an angry Xiao.

"Rex Lapis is dead huh"
