The blue sky had slowly turned into a dark purple followed by a captivating admiral blue.
The twinkling stars flickered throughout the night as a silent wind blew towards the lake.
Under the cover of darkness, Y/N managed to escape her crazy siblings. She landed flawlessly on the soft grass without a single noise.
She made sure that no one had seen her reckless jump before running off to the shore.

A deep alluring voice called out to the Y/H girl who shivered at the noise.
She flipped around and pointed a small yet sharp dagger at the man but quickly dropped it and covered her mouth.
"Y-you!" She whispered "y-your the guy who carried me home..." she said softer.
Xiao nodded and pushed himself off of the rock he was leaning on.
"My name is Xiao, one of the guardians of Liyue. And who might you be"
It was less of a question and more like a demand.
"Y/N L/N..." she mumbled while playing with her dress.
Xiao averted his gaze from the H/C haired girl and swiftly placed his gloved hand over his mouth.
"I want to apologize for the other night..." Y/N said breaking the awkward silence "you caught me off guard at the wrong time" she chuckled slightly, remembering how flustered she was.
Xiao shook his head "its.... nothing".
A squealing hog ran down the path behind them scaring the poor girl and putting Xiao into a Defensive mode.
He quickly pushed the H/C haired girl against a large rock that hid their bodies. His ungloved hand over her mouth to keep from marking any noise.
Y/N's E/C eyes widened when she saw two treasure hoarders fire arrows at the poor hog. They laughed together as they dragged it away.
Xiao waited until the two were out of sight before pushing off of her.
Before Y/N could turn around and thank him the adepti already disappeared.
"O-oh" Y/N spoke to herself before jumping at a sudden squeal.
"L/N WHAT ARE DOING? GET INSIDE BEFORE YOU GRT HURT!!"
Goldet yelled worriedly as the H/C haired girl turned her head around to look at the lake before making her way inside.
