The Losing Battle

                   At Starlight:

                    Layla's POV:

               "Irene!" I called for her, "We has to halp Sissy!" "I know," She replied, "But it is too late." "NU. IT. IZ. NOT!!!" I screamed with my ultima eyes showing, "We has to do something!" "Okay," She said, "Let's go."

            Shannon's POV:

            Michael swung his sword and I tried doge but it landed and slashed my left side. The wound felt like fire and I tried to attack him but he slashed my chest. "It doesn't matter how hard you try," Michael sneered, "you will just fail! Just like your family!" He slashed me again and I fell to the ground. I started to cough up blood and he was about to stab me when out of nowhere, a combat knife flew and hit him in his side. I reached up to grab it and pulled it out then stabbed him. He then released a shockwave and it sent me flying to the other side of the arena. I looked up to see Susie attacking the Demon Warlock so I rushed in to help her. I jumped on Michael and started to bite at his neck while Susie was slashing at his chest. "Enough!" He yelled in anger. He then threw both Susie and me off of him and grabbed Susie's knife. He grabbed Susie then stabbed her in her chest. Susie screamed in pain and kicked Michal in the stomach. He threw Susie into me and it sent both of us flying back. I got up and looked at Susie's wounds and realized where the knife was. "Susie!" I said while trying to stop the bleeding, "You're going to be ok." "Don't worry, Shannon," She said weakly, "I am already dead." She sat up then pulled her knife out of her chest which caused blood to gush out. Susie's eyes were becoming dull and she fell on her back. "Thank you for being nice to me," She said closing her eyes, "Goodbye, Shannon." "No," I said trying to stop her from falling asleep but it was too late. "Now, Shannon," Michael said, "Where were we?" I turned to him then changed to my ultima form and charged at him. He dogged and slashed my side with his blade. I then tackled him and tried to bite him but he threw me off. He then opened a doorway to the void and pushed me in...
