Life as an Ultima Werewolf

New School, New Problems

 "I am so excited!" I cried with joy, "It's my first day of public school." Our dog, which is a mix between a wolf, husky, and a german shepherd mix named Riley, looked up from my bed confused. "Of course you wouldn't get it," I said playfully, "Oh no-no-no!" I looked in the mirror and saw that my eyes were showing. "Fudge!" I yelled, "If Dad finds out about this he won't let me go." Not realizing that my older brother, Aaron, had crept up on me and Riley had left the room. "If Dad found out about what?" Aaron snarked with a grin. I jumped and begged, "Please don't tell Dad!"

"Don't worry, I won't tell him," he paused and then said, "Here have this bandana. You can use it to cover your eyes."

"How would I be able to see out of it?" I asked.

"It's like one-way glass but you can see out of the cloth just as well as you can without it," Aaron explained

The alarm on my phone went off. "OH NO, I CAN'T BE LATE ON THE FIRST DAY!" I screamed. I pushed my brother out of my room to change from my pajamas into a clean shirt, a hoodie, shorts, and wolf stockings then ran into the door, slinging it off the hinges for the fiftieth time. My Mom yelled, "Shannon Ashly Lycan!" Oh no, when she calls me by my full name it normally means that I did something bad, I thought. "That's the fifth door this week!" she continued. "Sorry" I mumbled back, scarfing down my breakfast, "I don't want to be late." Mom just glared at me and shook her head. After I had eaten, I transformed into wolf form and sprinted to school.

The first period just ended, and it was now free time. While attempting to make friends with a group of humans was stopped by this werewolf boy that had black hair and a big blue highlight on the front, a few scars on his face, and silver eyes. His ears and tail were the same color as his hair, one of his ears were pierced and he wore the school uniforms that everyone has to wear. He was twice my size as well. "What are you doing, Omega?" he said coldly. OMEGA!?! How dare you call me an Omega! I thought. "Who are you supposed to be? Omega," I said mocking him. "Who am I? Who am I!?" he growled, "I am your Alpha, and you will treat me with respect." After he said that, he swung his fist but I dogged and threw a punch, which connected and launched him to the wall. By now, everyone is looking at the fight, humans, Meif'wa's a half-cat and half-human, even the werewolf teachers, waiting to see who will become alpha. Ein got up then pulled out a switchblade and charged at me. I ducked just in time, but he swung back and cut the side of my face. I threw a punch, but he was ready for it, then he slashed my right eyebrow, cutting some of the bandana covering my eyes. By then, Aaron ran through the circle of teachers and students and yelled, "EIN STOP!" I responded first and said, "No, Aaron. This is my fight." "You can get kil-" he started but I cut him off and said "I'm not a child anymore, so stop treating me like one," He backed off, but as he did, Ein slashed my left arm and left a deep gash. Then he tried to slash at my throat, but I ducked then slid in between his legs. As I did that, I grabbed his right leg and he fell on his face. Ein dropped his knife, which was stained with my blood. But before I tried to grab it, he got up and kicked me in my back and sent me flying into my brother. At that point I had lost control, he tried to stab me but I dodged, and I grabbed him and threw him through the window. After I did this, and after the fight was over, one of the students said, "She defeated Ein! She's the new alpha!" After that, I just collapsed from blood loss...
