It took me a while to fall asleep but when I did, Shannon shot up in the bed which had woken me up. "What is it?" I asked. "I don't know," Shannon replied. I got up when she did and followed her to the living room. There was a soft green glow in the living room. "Oh no," Shannon said while her eyes were changing a pale yellow. I called my knife to get ready for a fight.

              Shannon's pov:

"SISSY HALP!!!" Layla screamed from upstairs. I sprinted up the stairs with Susie on my heels. When I knocked the door down, Aaron was on the floor and had green liquid on him. Ein was there with two more potions in his hands. "EIN!" I yelled while unsheathing my claws, "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?" He laughed and said, "I am going to make your entire family and friends hate you." He started to throw one at Susie but he dropped it when Layla sunk her teeth and claws into his back. "OW YOU LITTLE RAT!" He screamed and tried to shake Layla loose but she had a death grip on him. Susie was about to throw her knife but she couldn't get a clear shot. Ein then threw Layla off of his back and hit her as hard as he could which sent Layla flying right through the wall. "Layla!" I screamed. I then charged at Ein but he dogged me and landed a punch into my ribs and I flew into the other wall. I heard a loud crack and I couldn't breathe. I coughed up blood when I finally caught my breath and I felt along my ribs to see if any of them were broken. As soon as I touched one of them, intense pain ran up my body and a yelp had escaped my mouth. I looked over to see Susie wearing a mask that looked like it was hand made, fighting Ein. "Why are you even here, human?" Ein said while dogging every swing, "You're not even a werewolf!"

Susie's POV:

"You're not even a werewolf!" I repeated in my head. I then let a growl out and kept trying to hit him but he kept on dogging. "What's the matter, Human?" Ein said, "Are you even trying or are you just that pathetic?!" He then pulled my leg out from under me and I landed on my back. "Do you really think that a human can possibly beat a werewolf," He remarked while laughing. "I. am. a. werewolf!" I said while rising to my feet only to get knocked back down again by another blow to the face. My mask had gotten knocked off and when I reached for it, Ein slashed my face and left claw marks across my right eyebrow, my nose, and my right cheek. "If your a werewolf," Ein said, "where are your ears and tail? Oh, wait! Your not. Your just another disgusting human in my way!" I screamed in rage and got up then kicked him in the gut then continued to punch him as hard as I could. I then pulled back for one last blow which sent him flying through the window. I grabbed my knife and started to go after him until Shannon grabbed my shoulder. "Susie," She wheezed in pain, "That's enough." I realized how badly she was hurt. "Owee," Layla said walking out of the hole in the wall, "Is he gon?" I nodded my head. Shannon fell to her hands and knees started coughing up a small puddle of bright red blood. "SISSY?!?!" Layla yelled. "I'm o-," She started but lost consciousness. Aaron just now woke up and saw the pool of blood next to his sister and he picked her up then ran to his car. Layla and I followed him and got in the car as well. Shannons breathing sounded like there were pieces of metal in her lungs that gave off a rattling sound with each breath. We were going way over the speed limit and Aaron had to swerve past each car on the road. The rattling sound of Shannon's breathing stopped and I immediately performed CPR. Layla started crying and Slenderman's voice entered my head, "You want to save her?" Of freaking course, I want to save her!" I thought back, "She's my friend! The first friend that I ever had! The best friend that I ever had." "Okay, I will help. Think deep about what you want. Think about helping her breathe again." Suddenly, my palms started glowing cyan blue and Shannon was breathing again. "How you do dat?" Layla said sniffling. "I don't know," I replied looking at my hands. When we pulled into the emergency room, I picked Shannon up and carried her on my back into the waiting room. There was a female security guard sitting at the front desk. "Ma'am," The security guard said without looking up from the monitor she had on her desk, "we will be with you in a few minutes." "WE DON'T HAVE A FEW MINUTES!!" Both Aaron and I yelled simultaneously. The guard looked at Shannon and picked up her radio and said, "We have a Code Blue in the ER lobby, I repeat, a Code Blue in the ER lobby!" 'Copy on that, sending paramedics your way,' someone on the other end said. Five seconds later, four doctors rushed Shannon to get X-rays to see what was going on. She was still unconscious when they were done taking X-rays which showed that all of her ribs were broken on her right side and some of them were shattered. Her parents were there as well waiting for any news and Layla was curled up in a tight ball crying with Dottie trying to comfort her. There were three other creatures that looked like velociraptors, one having long blue hair with white tips and she had a vibrant blue streak going down either side of her body from her eyes, the male was had green hair and scales that had a tigerstripe pattern, and the other female had black hair and scales. She also had a vibrant purple streak like the blue one but she had quills running down the back of her forearms. Aaron saw me looking at them so he introduced them to me. "The blue one," He said, "Her name is Blue, the green one is Charlie, he is dating my sister, and the one with the purple streaks, her name is Khloe. She has the same gene that gives Blue her blue streak but they are two different creatures." "Okay," I said, "I do like your colors, Blue." "Thanks," She replied. I heard footsteps coming from the hall where Shannon was. "So?" Shannon's mom asked. "She'll live," the doctor said, "But, she's in a medically induced coma. She had to get surgery to remove the fragments of bone that almost pierced her right lung." "When Sissy gon to wake up?" Layla said while her hair was beginning to change colors to dark grey. "A year or two," The doctor said, "It's just to make sure Shannon heals." Layla started to cry harder and walked slowly to Dottie to hug her. Tears welled up in my eyes as well.
