Hindi ata sila marunong sumuko, hindi nila ako tinatantanan. Ganoon ba talaga nila kagusto na kunin ko ang posisyon na yun? Ni hindi ko man lang kasi nakitaan na parang napapagod na sila. Ni hindi ko man lang nakitaan ang sarili ko na maging President ng isang section. Mas gusto ko na lang din maging pasaway na tagasunod kaysa sa kailangang magpasunod. Ayoko na maglead sa lahat kasi feeling ko kasi hindi ko naman talaga kaya. 

"Andrea, you need to do this. You're the only one perfectly qualified for that position."

I face them with a questionable look, I see that they are serious based on their faces. My classmates now are damn serious about this kind of joke. I placed both hands to my face to cover it because of frustration. I sighed then Timothy held my hand, and I chuckled sarcastically. When I saw my brother, I looked at them before I walked away.

I had to run because my brother will get angry again if I walk like a turtle. When I get inside the car, he quickly starts the engine. I took off my earphones on my neck and I placed them in my bag. When the car stopped I immediately got out of the car. I stayed to wait for Kuya before we got inside the restaurant. 

"So is this, Andrea?" 

"Yes, come here hija. This is your tita George, she's my childhood and my best friend."

I smiled shyly before I kissed her cheeks.

"Nice to meet you po."

"It's nice to meet you too. Sit down, hija."

I sat in a chair and kuya acts like a gentleman brother. Ipinaghila niya pa ako ng mauupuan. Gutom na ako pero hindi pa rin sila nagsisimula kumain. 

"Kieran, come here hijo." Napalingon ako kung saan nakatingin si tita then I saw my classmates Kieran walking towards our place.

"Sorry, I'm late."

Nang maupo siya ay tumingin pa siya sa akin.

"Hijo, this is Andrea—"

"I know her, mom. She's my classmate and she'll be the class president of our section." 

My mommy is so happy and I just rolled my eyes. How could he do this to me? Hindi naman ako naging masama sa kanya but this is not a good thing. Bakit kailangan niya pa sabihin sa harap nila mommy?

"Accept it, anak. Enjoy your life and be the president."

"I'll think about it, mom." 

"No, don't disappoint me. I know you can do it, anak." I just smiled at them.

I saw Kieran smirked, then I saw my brother sighed. I hate it when my mother doesn't want me to disappoint her. It's hard, and I can't do anything about it. Ayoko madisappoint ang parents ko pero sobrang hirap naman.

I was wrong when I think that they will stop. Kahit saan, kahit anong oras may nakabuntot sa akin. Ayaw nga nilang maging class President, ako pa kaya? I don't know why they keep on bothering me about that case.

Nang matapos kumain ay nagpaalam ako kina mommy at tita. Agad ko hinila si Kieran papunta sa labas. Hindi na naman ako natutuwa sa mga nangyayari.

"Sana all hinihila."

"Ang ingay mo!"

"Coming from you."

Nang makalabas na kami ay binitawan ko na siya at agad na hinarap. Agad ko pinitik ang noo niya.

"Lakas ng trip mo noh? Sa harap pa talaga ni mommy, sarap mo batukan!"

"Pumayag ka na kasi."

"No!"

Hanggang sa makauwi hindi na nawala pa ang kainisan ko. Dumiretso ako papasok sa k'warto ko at itinapon ang bag ko.

Makalipas ang dalawang araw ay nakasabay namin si mommy sa pag-breakfast.

"Andrea, what's your decision? Timothy told me that you're not agreeing with your classmates' decision."

"Mom, I don't know if I can handle being a class President. Please, understand me."

"No, alisin mo yung hiya-hiya. Dapat matuto kang maghadle ng mga tao, be the president and I am allowing you to go with your brother on Christmas in Korea." Parang biglang nagreplay ng nagreplay ang last na sinabi ni mommy.

"Are you sure, mom? Hindi ka nagbibiro?"

"Be the president and I'll make your dream come true." Nang maiwan ako ni mama sa veranda ay nagtatatalon ako.

"Yes!"

It was a great day when I finished all my school works. Nang papalabas na sana ako sa room ay nabigla ako ng parang wala atang sumunod sa akin. I saw Zayn walking towards the front and he placed his hard on the table.

"We need a president. Nagagalit na si ma'am. For me, kaya ko naman ah. I'm so much willing to be the class President." I saw my classmates sighed.

Until now, I don't know why they want me to be a class President. Hindi ko naman maalala na nagpapakamature ako dito sa loob ng school. I stepped in again and go to the front beside Zayn. 

"I don't know why you want me to be the class President. But please help me to be a great leader if you want me to be the president of this class."

"So pumapayag ka na? I nodded. "Arte-arte ka pa kasi, we know naman kasi na kaya mo."

I smiled then I bowed slightly before they congratulated me. 

"So now let's introduce again the class officers of 9-Humility. Please accompany me here when I call your name. Andrea Ryleigh the former class vice president will be now our class President. Ivan Kieran ang papalit bilang vice president, and the rest is yung dati lang." 

Matapos magsalita ng aming bubutihing anak ng governor na si Noah Evan ay nagsimula na kaming magsilabasan sa room dahil naman uwian na.

When I started walking, Timothy ran towards me. He gave me a bar of chocolate before he runs away because he'll play basketball. I just pouted my lips before I opened the cover of the chocolate then I saw a quote in there saying I know you can do it.

Then my life started to get new since that day and I am very thankful that I am part of Humility, not just a section but also my family. I become a class President in no time, I'm the unexpected President of section Humility.

Nalaman agad ng buong school kung sino ang bagong President ng worst section daw. Naninibago ako kasi parang lalong ang sama kong tao sa tuwing tinititigan nila ako. Kung alam niyo lang kung sino ako, char. 

Nang lumabas ako sa room dahil sa may iniutos sa akin si ma'am Grazielle ay nakasabay ko si Art pababa ng hagdan. Sa dinami-dami ng taong pwede ko makasabay, siya na naman ba talaga?

"So you're the new president huh?"

"May angal ka?" tanong ko.

"Nothing, it's just that... I don't know if you can do it."

Napahinto ako sa paglalakad at humarap sa kanya ng may plastik na ngiti.

"Watch me then!" hasik ko sa kanya bago ako nagsimulang maglakad muli.

Wala kayo tiwala sa akin, pero sila mayroon. Wala ako pakialam sa sasabihin nila ngayon. Pinagkatiwalaan ako ng section Humility, sila lang naman ang totoo sa akin kaya hindi ko sila babaguhin, at hindi ko din sasayangin ang pagkakataon na ito dahil makakasama ako kay kuya papunta sa Korea.
