Little Dragon ; Fred Weasley

Chapter 14

You and Fred hadn't talked about the kiss, but you and him would hang out all the time. The second task was coming up and you still hadn't figure out how to get the egg to stop screaming.

You were walking back from your last to the common room when someone stopped you. You turned around and saw Cedric running towards you. 'Oh hey Cedric,' you said smiling at him. You didn't ever really talk to him before the tournament. He was really sweet to you. 'So have you figured out the egg thing?' he asked smiling back. 'No not yet, have you?' you asked embarrassed. 'Well yeah I did,' he asked laughing a bit. You looked at him, waiting for him to tell you. 'Okay I guess I'll tell you,' he said smiling, 'Put it under water.' You looked at him confused. 'Why?' you asked tilting your head. 'Just do it (y/n),' he said smiling and shaking his head. He just waved and walked away, leaving you confused.

You just waved to the boys and rushed to your room. You had to think about what he could be talking about. Suddenly the idea popped in your head. You grabbed a piece of paper and wrote a note telling Fred to meet you in the Prefects bathroom in 30 minutes. You did a quick charm for it to disappear and appear in his room.

You dug through your truck to find a swimsuit. The only swimsuit you had was a two piece. You quickly put it on and looked in the mirror. Your faced dropped. You looked at all the scars you had on your body. Your father and mother really had no remorse. You looked at your stomach and saw the biggest and most recent one. You couldn't let anyone see it. You got a bandage and quickly covered it up, hoping no one would question it. You grabbed the egg and ran out of your room.

You didn't have anything to cover your swimsuit since the towels were in there. You hoped no one was in the common room since it was late. You sprinted down the stairs and tried to make it out as secretly as you could.

Right when you were about to get out the door, you heard someone spit their drink. 'WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING LIKE THAT?' Theo yelled across the common room. You slowly turned around and saw all of your friends sitting on the couches. 'Oh hey guys, what's up?' you asked trying to ignore the question. 'WHY ARE YOU WALKING AROUND NAKED?' Theo yelled completely staring at you. 'Don't be an idiot Theo, she's in a swimsuit,' Blaise said hitting Theo in the head. 'WELL WELL, SHE IS PRACTICALLY NAKED!' Theo continued yelling. You walked over to him and threw the egg at him. 'Will you stop yelling?' you asked annoyed. 'Where are you going dressed like that?' Marcus said with a slight blush on his face. None of the boys had ever seen you in a swimsuit. 'I have to go figure what this thing is saying,' you said snatching the egg from Theo. 'Well you look hot,' Theo blurted out and instantly his eyes got wide. All the boys bursted out laughing. 'Thanks Theo, real charming,' you said laughing. 'What's on your stomach?' Blaise asked pointing to the bandage. 'I got scratched when I was with the dragon,' you said trying to sound convincing. 'You didn't get hurt at all during the challenge though,' Marcus said sounding confused. 'Well I have to go now, I'll see you all tomorrow,' you said walking out trying to avoid the conversation. 'WELL YOU BETTER NOT BE MEETING ANY BOYS DRESSED LIKE THAT!' Theo yelled as you walked out, causing everyone to laugh.

Fred's Pov:
Harry and Ron were in Fred and George's room. They were all sitting in there, talking and eating candy, when suddenly a loud CRACK and a note fell on Fred's bed. 'AHH,' Ron yelled causing all the boys to laugh. 'What's that?' Harry asked pointing to the note. Fred picked it up and read what you wrote to him. He instantly smiled and dug through his truck for a swimsuit. He went in the closet to change. 'Who was it from?' Ron whispered to George. 'Probably his girlfriend,' George said laughing. 'She's not my girlfriend, it was just (y/n),' Fred said getting his shoes on. 'So you're girlfriend?' Harry asked causing all the boys to laugh. 'She's not my girlfriend, I haven't asked her,' Fred said starting to get annoyed. 'So what you guys are just friends, but you snog whenever you're alone?' George asked causing Fred to blush. 'Just shut up,' Fred said walking out. Fred made his way to the bathrooms.

Your Pov:
You walked in a sat down next to the baths that were as big as swimming pools. You played with the egg until you heard the doors open. You turned and saw Fred walking in. 'Hey stranger,' he said while walking in. 'Lock the door,' you said before he could walk closer. His face got red, thinking not the best things, as he turned and locked it. He came closer and just stood as you sat. 'So why are we in here?' he asked looking around. 'You have to put this under water to figure out what it says. I didn't want to do it alone,' you said looking up at him. He smiled causing you to smile you as well. 'Well then what are we waiting for?' he said smiling pulling off his shirt. You instantly looked away, feeling the blush all over your face. You stood next to him handing him the egg. You took off your shoes. You didn't notice, but he was staring at you blushing.

'What is that from?' he asked pointing to the bandage. 'Oh i got hurt from the Dragons,' you said trying to brush it off. He looked at you and you could tell he wasn't convinced. You could feel his gaze all over you. He stepped closer and moved your hair to behind your shoulder. He brushed his fingers along your arms and his chest, tracing the faint scars. 'Then what are these from?' he asked full of concern. 'Oh nothing just a rough kid growing up,' you said with a fake smile. He still didn't sound convinced. 'Well then we should figure this out,' you said trying to steer the conversation away.

You both made your into the bath/ pool. Fred was walking out to a part where you couldn't touch. You were already covered to your shoulders with water. He notice you stopped and turned around. 'What are you waiting for?' he asked laughing. 'In case you forgot I'm not 6'4 like you giant,' you said splashing water at him. 'Oh really that's how you wanna do it?' he asked with a smirk on his face. He dove towards you causing you to scream. He picked you up and threw you across the water. You came up from the water, and pretended that you couldn't swim. 'F-fred,' you said gasping for air. He quickly made his way over to you and pulled you close to him. He pushed all your hair out of your face. You opened your eyes and dunked him under the water. You started swimming around and laughter filled the room. 'So you can swim?' he said pushing his hair out of his face. 'Yeah you just got PRANKED!' you said laughing. 'Love that isn't a prank,' he said shaking his head. He grabbed you and pulled you closer and you wrapped your arms around his neck. He grabbed your waist lift you so you wrapped your legs around his waist. He smirked before you leaned in and kissed him. He pulled you closer as the kissed progressed. You ran your fingers through his hair to deepen the kiss. The kiss went on for a while. He grabbed your hips and you could feel something press against you. 'Maybe we should stop, just for tonight,' he said out of breath pulling away. You nodded and smiled. You got down and swam over to get the egg.

Fred was walking you back, as you were left thinking about the task and what could have been taken from you. You came up the door and turned to give Fred a hug goodbye. You pulled away and his eyes drifted down. 'What is that?' Fred asked to the bandage that was halfway peeled off. 'Just a scratch,' you said trying to fix it. 'That's not a scratch that looks like a scar, that looks like a word,' he said trying to look at it closer. 'Fred I said I was okay, okay? It's nothing,' you said trying to get him to drop it. 'I'm okay now,' you said softly. You instantly regretted adding the 'now'. No matter how you much you wished he didn't hear it, he did. 'What do you mean now?' he asked full of worry. You could tell he was getting frustrated about how you weren't telling him. 'It's just nothing. Please just drop it. I have to go,' you said turning away. You didn't wait for a response before you walked in, leaving him alone in the hall.
