Chapter 22

You looked around Fred's shoulder and saw the whole Weasley bunch and Hermione smiling at you. 'Hey guys!' you said with an uncontrollable smile. You were so happy to see everyone again. 'Hey (y/n) come with me I need to tell you everything that happened while you were away,' George said grabbing your arm. 'No she needs to come with me I need to tell her about me playing quidditch,' Ron said grabbing your other arm. 'No she needs to tell me about her summer,' Ginny said taking your arm away from George. 'Well actually she needs to come with ME to tell me about what happened at home so far,' Hermione said taking your arm from Ron. Fred came up to you and picked you up throwing you over his shoulder, leaving all of them on giving him a dirty look. 'She gets to be with me right now,' Fred said smirking at all of them. With a crack, you two were now in your room.

He set you off of his shoulder and pulled you into a kiss. 'I've missed you so much,' he said as he pulled away. 'I've missed'- you began saying but didn't get a chance to finish because he pressed his lips against yours again. 'Jump,' he growled under his breath, which you automatically did. He caught your legs and you wrapped them around his waist. He sat down on the bed and now you were sitting on top of his lap. He grabbed your hips to not let any space be in between you. You started kissing his neck, smiling against him when he let out a low groan. 'You okay Freddie?,' you whispered against his neck smiling. He flipped you onto your back now. He put his hand on your cheek and lowered it to your neck. 'Don't tease,' he said in a low voice, tracing his thumb against your lips. 'What if I want to though?' you asked looking at him, he now looked at you in the eyes. 'Don't,' he said and leaned down and kissed you again. He started kissing your neck when someone knocked on the door.

'Oh my fucking god,' he said while turning towards the door. 'What!' Fred yelled towards the door. 'Mum wants us down stairs, all of us,' George yelled. 'Okay!' Fred yelled but leaned down and started kissing you again. All of a sudden the door bursted open, and you fell off the bed. 'What the hell George,' you said rubbing the back of your head. 'Mom was very serious about not leaving you two alone for too long,' George said smiling. 'Okay i'm just gonna change and then I'll be down,' you said standing up. 'Right, George get out,' Fred said turning to his brother. 'Both of you get out,' you said laughing and shutting the door on him.

Fred's Pov:
You pushed the two out of the room and they started down the hall way. 'Did you ask her to be your girlfriend yet?' George asked smiling at Fred. 'What what are you talking about? We are just really good friends,' Fred said blushing.

They made their way into the kitchen with everyone. 'You ask her yet?' Ginny said smiling at Fred. 'Will everyone stop asking me that?' Fred said sitting down annoyed. 'Ask what? If you guys are dating? I don't blame them for assuming, you did spend the last 3 weeks complaining that you couldn't talk to her,' Molly said sitting next to Ginny. 'She did the exact same thing,' Sirius said laughing. 'Why won't you, you guys are perfect,' Ron said confused. 'What if she says no?' Fred said looking down. Hermione grabbed a pillow and hit Fred across the head. 'You really are stupid,' Hermione said annoyed. Fred was about to reply, but was stopped when he heard footsteps coming from the stairs. 'If anyone says anything about this conversation, I will hex you in your sleep,' Fred snapped and then tried to fix himself to look as normal as possible.

Your Pov:
You changed into an oversized sweater and shorts. You brushed out your hair and put some lip gloss on. If Fred doesn't want me to tease him, that's exactly what i'm going to do you thought to yourself. You pretty much jumped down the stairs to go meet with everyone.

'Hey guys,' you said walking in the room, 'what are we talking about?' you asked sitting down next to Fred. 'Nothing at all,' Fred said quickly. You just looked at everyone who looked like they were about to burst out laughing. 'So why don't you just aperated around the house like the idiots?' Ron asked you. 'Oh I haven't turned 17 yet,' you said shyly. 'When do you?' Ginny asked. 'Well if today is today and tomorrow is tomorrow. Then what like 2 days,' you trying to not make it a big deal. 'TWO DAYS! So you're telling me you had your birthday while you were staying with us and you didn't tell anyone!' George yelled while now standing up. 'I mean it's not really a big deal,' you said trying to get the conversation to steer another way. 'Nonsense! We will throw a party!' Molly said smiling. 'It's okay you don't have to, nothing i'm not used to,' you said smiling but it instantly dropped. You watched their reactions and you saw them drop, which you didn't know why. 'No no I mean I have birthday parties yes, so many, you know with cake,' you said trying to reassure them. 'Okay then we will do it!' Molly said smiling and walking out. All the kids watched your what the hell just happened face and then they all laughed to themselves. 'Mom's a little intense sometimes,' Fred whispered in your ear. 'It's okay, just shows she cares,' you said smiling.

All of the kids stayed in the living room while the parents went to bed. Fred had gotten up and grabbed a blanket because it was kind of cold in the room. You quickly thought of the perfect idea and when he offered for you to get under it with him, you gladly accepted. 'So Ginny, got a boyfriend this year?' you asked smiling. While everyone was focused on Ginny's response, you ran your hand up Fred's thigh. He tensed up a little at the sudden touch. 'What's wrong?' you whispered innocently as your hand went higher. He grabbed your hand and whispered, 'Don't start something you can't finish.' You leaned in closer, 'Who says I don't want to finish?' Your remark left him in shock and blushing. You just took your hand away and continued listening to everyone talk.

Everyone started walking towards their rooms to go to bed. Fred was about to walk in his but you grabbed his arm. 'Will you stay with me?' you asked looking towards the ground. You looked up at Fred and saw he was just smiling. He nodded and picked you up bridal style in his arms. 'Fred what are you doing? I'm like 400 feet in the air,' you said grabbing onto him so he couldn't drop you. 'Okay i'm not that tall,' he said rolling his eyes causing you to burst out laughing.

He opened your door and chucked you on the bed. It didn't go according to plan because you bounced off and landed straight on the floor. Fred tried to control himself but the laughter couldn't stay him. He fell onto the bed holding his stomach, laughing his head off. You sat up rubbing your head, 'So not funny,' you said smiling but shaking your head. ' It was kind of funny,' he while helping you up and kissing your head. You laid down on the bed and he laid on your chest. He wrapped his arms around you and pulled you closer. You started playing with his hair and you could tell he was enjoying it. You stopped, causing him to groan in annoyance until you did it again. 'You're a baby,' you said laughing while playing with his hair. 'No Im not,' he said smiling into your chest. 'Thank you,' he spoke. 'For what?' you asked confused. 'The money, you didn't need to do it,' Fred said in a sleepy voice. 'No don't start. I wanted you to have it. I don't need it,' you said sweetly. 'But why would you do that for me?' he asked, clearly about to fall asleep. 'Because I really care about you. All you do is make me proud, and I want to watch you succeed at another thing,' you said with a slight chuckle. He didn't respond so you knew he was asleep. 'Because I love you Freddie,' you said quietly still playing with his hair.

What you didn't know is that right before Fred was about to fully fall asleep, he heard you say it. He heard you say you loved him. He couldn't do anything but snuggle closer to you, taking you all in.
