hello my lovelies who read this book ( ^ω^ )
this author's note has been pretty long overdue and honestly, i'm really just so thankful that you guys made it to the end of this book.
it's been a stressful plot, believe me i read your comments ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
through this book i wanted to portray how relationships in the books we read aren't all that perfect.
first off, we'll start with Soobin and Aera, as to them being the main characters of this story.
Aera is a girl who's beautiful and privileged. although it wasn't emphasised, she mentioned about being a wild little thing back then. she isn't as innocent as she seems BUT she does have a heart of gold.
Soobin on the other hand, is an independent boy who thrives in his studies as well as his loneliness. keep in mind that he lost his father and didn't have a male role model to teach him the important values of a man.
Aera and Soobin slowly fall in love even though it was through a nasty bet. YES, it's genuine love but yet again, they weren't the best at communicating and only wanted to show the perfect side of themselves
(which explains the lies and also as to why no one noticed how Soobin didn't open up about HIS story)
some may wonder why Aera would give a second chance to someone who did her dirty.
well, in my honest opinion, if both parties are willing to fix the problem, why not?
even if your other half truly loves you after lies & deceit, as long as your willing to grow better together, the chances are unlimited until we as humans, have reached our limit.
AND DON'T BE CONFUSED, give your chances in MODERATION. It's not okay to always get hurt JFJSJDHS
secondly, The Golden Trio.
likewise for imperfect relationships, there are also imperfect friendships. i realise that many of the comments despised both Jaemin & Jeno and it's completely understandable.
however looking into a real world context, it was not Jaemin & Jeno's place to tell Aera about Mark's plan.
YES, it is their fault for not fully understanding her but yet again, Aera didn't open up until the last minute in which caused some form of insensitivity to occur.
the three of them truly care and love each other, but in life misunderstandings and misinterpretations happen which clouds our judgments and morals in sticky situations.
thirdly, Mark and Aera.
as we all know, Mark and Aera's relationship was the foundation of the built up events.
like i mentioned previously, misunderstandings cloud our moral judgements.
Mark didn't bother hearing Aera out because he trusted his brother. because of this, communication was a problem due to Mark's inability to remember his morals.
(yes my sad boi </3)
in the story, it's mentioned how Mark didn't bother hearing Aera out. personally, when i wrote this, it was a good & bad thing.
without hearing someone out, you wouldn't understand correct?
however, when you hear someone out, you MUST be able to accept what they say.
Mark just needed time to finally accept the truth.in the end, he accepted it and became the Mark whom Aera fell in love with.
(although his anger and hurt had already messed up quite a bit jfksjfksjd)
to summarise this stressful piece of work i've written, our loved ones will hurt us one way or another.
so what helps us in situations like these?
fights and heart aches are bound to happen UNLESS we start finally understanding & accepting the situation as it is.
from there, your relationships with people blossom when you fight the situation TOGETHER.
i don't know if this note makes sense but it's just based from experiences of my own life skrt skrtz
i thank you all again for making through this book, i'm terribly sorry for the tears and the stress HAHAHAHA
see you in my next books ❤️
(like the yeonjun book i just published *wink wonk*)
