"who's that?" soobin frowned as he pouted at the girl who was smiling at her phone.

"it's mark. we became friends again," aera said as she set her phone aside.

"hmph," soobin grumbled as he turned his back on aera, hugging his bolster pillow instead.

"aw you big baby," aera cooed as she hugged soobin from behind.

soobin faced aera again, a smile playing on his lips as he pecked aera on her cheeks.

"why do we always end up on your bed?" aera questioned as soobin poked her cheeks.

"because i have what i love with me in the same place," soobin simply answered causing aera to raise a brow.

"and what do you have?"

"my bed and you," soobin answered cheekily before nuzzling his head into aera's shoulder.

aera felt her heart melt at soobin's antics and caressed his back lovingly.

however, one question still lingered in her mind.

"what are we soobin?" aera mumbled causing soobin to perk his head up, a smirk formed on his lips.

"be right back," soobin got up from his bed before running to the kitchen.

aera sat up from her position and felt confused as to what soobin was trying to do.

soon after, soobin walked back into his room sheepishly, hiding something behind his back.

aera raised a brow, anticipation and curiosity getting to her.

"park aera," soobin started before pulling out a purple vegetable from behind him.

"is that a beet?" aera chuckled out at the huge vegetable soobin held in his hand.

soobin nodded proudly before getting down on one knee.

"my heart beets for you," soobin said before giggling in embarrassment from his pick-up line.

"oh my god," aera covered her face with her hands and giggled along with soobin.

"let me continue!" soobin pouted as aera held in her laughter.

soobin pulled out a thin silver bracelet from his pocket before putting it on aera's wrist.

"soobin-"

"yes, i'll be your boyfriend. damn, what took you so long to ask me aera?" soobin gushed jokingly as aera hit his chest lightly.

aera admired the simple bracelet soobin had given her, her heart filled up with happiness at his sudden gestures.

soobin stared lovingly at the brunette girl sitting on his bed, his heart was always filled with so much love and comfort when she was around.

"thank you soobin," aera shyly said as she stoop your and engulfed soobin in her small arms.

soobin returned her embrace, aera's legs immediately wrapped around his waist causing him to chuckle.

"you're a baby koala,"

soobin was cut off as aera pressed her lips against his. soobin smiled, his dimples popping out as he melted in with her kiss.

and that marked the first day of the pair officially being together.
