Trials of Life and Death

Ashley's POV

I woke up in a room with my armor and weapons. Only my armor seemed different. It was still crystal but I felt stronger. Than I wondered if it had been replaced. I wanted to sprout wings and when I did I got excited. Than I noticed Caleb on the other side of the room. His warhammer on his side, new sword strapped to his back and his scythes hanging on his side.
He noticed me and his face turned to a look of concern. "Ashley why are you here? This is my trial."
Before I could respond someone else did. "It is both of yours actually." The man said as he stepped out from behind Caleb.
Caleb grabbed his sword and spun around. He had his sword at a mans throat. The mans armor was black as night with red and looked like a demonic Spartan. The armor was that of a regular spartan except for the shoulders were spiked in different angles and it gave it a demonic look. He had jet black hair and a shadowy grey colored eyes. He looked like he could've snapped Caleb like a twig but he only smiled.
"Caleb allow me to introduce myself. I am Caos." He said. Caleb's face turned to surprise. "Like the primordial yes."
"Your.. The old hero." Caleb said as he slowly lowered his sword.
"Yes he is." A woman's voice said. A woman stepped out from behind me. She was a beautiful woman that had silver hair, tan skin and emerald green eyes. She was in my armor and had my weapons. "And I'm his wife. I am Hemera."
"Ok this is really weird. Mythology got you guys really screwed up." Caleb said.
"Yes I know. I also know my father uses my name as his last in his human alias." Caos said. "And if I wasn't dead at the time I would've bitch slapped the Greek who did that."
"Understandable." I said.
Caos turned to me. "Ashley." He said smiling. "You look so much like Hemera did when she was your age. And you act just like her."
"Caos don't patronize the poor girl." Hemera said. I looked at her and realized I looked like her. Than I saw that Caleb looked like Caos.
"Sorry dear." Caos said. Than he looked at Caleb. "You though, my boy, are exactly how I was when I was your age. I'm not sure if that's good or bad."
"It's good." Hemera said as she hugged Caos from behind. "He'll be an amazing and handsome man than if he's like you."
Caos' eyes went soft and loving. He turned around and wrapped his arms around Hemera. "Ashley will be amazing and beautiful far beyond belief if she's like you. I love you Hemera."
"I love you too Caos." Hemera said before they kissed. They looked and reminded me so much of Caleb and myself.
I looked at Caleb. He was already looking at me. His eyes were so soft right now and he looked to be in his own world. "Caleb?"
He shook his head and came back into reality. "Yeah Ashley?" He said.
"Ha what were you staring at?" I said.
"My beautiful girlfriend." He said. He wrapped his arms around me. "Caos is right. Your beautiful beyond words. I love you."
"I love you too." I said. Than we had a long amazing kiss. When we looked up we saw Caos with his arm around Hemera's shoulder and Hemera smiling looking at us.
"They're really like us." Caos said. "Anyways lets get to the trial." He said. "Caleb you and I must fight eachother. Hemera and Ashley I don't know yours."
"Ours is simple. Ashley must show me she can use her powers even though she just got them." Hemera said.
"I got the wings down." I said making them flutter a bit. "Only ones left are light and nature."
"Are they?" Hemera asked. She had that same voice I had when people left stuff out.
"Yes as far as I remember." I said. I knew there was one more but I couldn't remember it.
"Ok. Show me what you can do." Hemera said. Than she turned to Caleb and Caos. "You two go fight over there."
Caleb sprouted wings and flew to the other side of the cave with Caos behind him. Than Hemera turned to me again. "So let's begin."
I focused and tried to shoot some bolts of light. I heard some exploding and Hemera scream a little. "Not on me!" She screamed.
"Sorry!" I yelled. Next I focused on traveling through light and I came out next to Hemera. I focused on the earth and grass started wrapping around things and had chunks of land come out as flying boulders.
"There you go. Now the last thing." Hemera said. I tried to think for a minute. I couldn't remember it! She seemed to understand that I couldn't. "Ok well let's watch them while you think."
